When I decided to play this game, I realized it looks very similar to Corporation Inc. Interesting to see the same concept being used for a hotel instead. ;)
I would like people to know that playing the game on their website (playtheend.com) is a lot better than playing it here as it runs a lot smoother. Basically, have the Kong tab of this game, have another tab playing it at the website (which you can save via save codes), and when you get everything done there, go back to your Kong tab and refresh. I was able to get the hard badge this way. Note, because on their website they use save codes, you cannot transfer the save files from playtheend.com to chat.kongregate.com as possible with other games.
"Listen up people, YES the music was USED in Age of War, but it's actually general use music created on newgrounds. It was first MADE for CastleCrashers, but it's released for anyone to use in whatever they want. And for the record, YES Age of Wars used it a lot, but they weren't the first. The music is ridiculously over-used ALL over the bloody place. Anyway, I can't play the game because the generals don't take damage, they just make the screen flash." -Sytakan.
It stinks that when I wake up and wanted to continue playing, the whole game is reset. However, I do like the fact that it's now simpler. I am also fortunate to have taken shots of my music before I left. :)
For all the people saying "This music is from Age of War" or such things, keep in mind that there are websites that specifically cater music to online games. This means that the music isn't attached to a single game. Even with that in mind, it's still great.
I would love to see badges added, but I don't want to deal with all the bugs. Today, I couldn't advance due to that qualifier glitch on Easter Island. Now, I lost progress of one of my ducks. I can't give this a 5/5 unless something is done to address these bugs.
Yesterday, I see that this game is on "Hot New Games". Today, I see it on "Highest Rated Games". And now, I regret not playing this yesterday when I had the chance. :/
According to a comment on Jayisgames, Bart Bonte said he didn't implement speedup or pause on purpose. Proof: http://jayisgames.com/archives/2011/03/sugar_sugar.php#comments + up so people are aware of this.
