Elder Eyes are good to gain spectral items easy :) spectral doesn't last like soulbound but you can make them soulbound or combine them once you unlock combinator on 10th ascension ( combinator can combine anything with anything even armor with weapons :p )
combination charges are how many times you can combine a soul bound item :) yes you can combine them infinite times as long as you got charges :3 In later game its the only way to get fast stats
another random bug player stuck without moving to next floor :( i was at 9th floor with assasin he summoned that fire spirit thing and stuck in corner damn
