The merchant should become a salted-ham vendor. The way his store has changed over the three games, it won't be long before ham is the only thing he'll have left to sell.
"I'll see your corpse in a crater!" *Throws a grenade and misses.*
*Explosion pushes the zombie towards me.*
*Chuck Norris-kick it into the crater.* *Dons sunglasses.*
Played to the end. The only problem, is that unless your self-defense abilities actually kill the zombies, they make you stand still. Thus, you get surrounded. It defeats the purpose of self defense.
I think the buttons and such need to be a little more obvious. Also, a shorter pause, if it's possible to get one, in between shots... Why is the power bar upside down? And what's the big rectangle thing on the right of it? (I can't beat the AI, and the AI is worse than I am.)
If the penguin didn't reach terminal velocity in an instant, the game would be improved. If the levels were a bit harder to solve, the game would be improved. If this game wasn't (Unfortunately) just another platformer, I would probably try and beat it.
Everything, from your health to how to shoot, to how to open that second door, needs to be a little bit more obvious. Other than that... The monsters are already obvious enough and look good.
I think it needs to pause when you access your inventory. After five seconds of messing with the controls, I was proficient enough to keep going until I ran out of ammo. That was when I got hit.
The 3D is good, the ships are tiny, and I can't seem to be ignored long enough to see if I have an upgraded weapon. It's fine I suppose.
Are you testing a concept or your skills? Art-wise, there seems to be a significant lack of. Mechanics-wise, it seems to work. Game play-wise, it is incredibly, incredibly bland/boring/whatever you want.
In short... This game appears to have had no inspiration.
I have played this many times before, but I never thought that failing to splat a Grey for a prolonged period of time would net me a Void Eater. I killed it.
The free downloadable BAMZOOKI from the CBBC website is just like this,3D AND you can set an animation sequence that means that your creation wont just fall over unless its YOUR fault...In this they just fall over unless its a triangle based brifge on legs...
I have just realised a slightly insignificant significant problem with this game: When you beat or fail a level and go back to the map...the wind stops...this effect is REALLY disconcerting...well...if you pay attention.
I was depressed by the human AI "Oh no! Bullets! Run away from the alien and then take cover!" other than that the kids surviving a direct hit from a bomb doesnt quite fit...And if your crying at the end,put down that novel filled with idiots who make the wrong choices and play a FPS game...Team Fortress 2 maybe :D
