Luck is totally irrelevant when it comes to getting the badge. Once you're used to higher speeds, you can reach 1000 with a 100% success rate. It's possible to properly take those corners even at the highest speed. If you don't believe me, just check the scoreboard for fastest speed of all time in hard. If you can't do it straight away, it's normal, it takes quite some time to get used to the speed. You just need to play some more and you'll get it :)

Every obstacle can be dodged at all speed, especially the ones you mentioned (easy mode is supposed to be...well...easy). Once you're used to them, it's not even a matter of luck.
