@NetMonster How different can a CCG game be? No matter what, it all boils down to having a deck, having a hand made from that deck, using that deck to fight enemies, et cetera. I do agree though, I hate these kind of games.
I've noticed that if you lag, the game will think that, in the time you lagged, you hit the ground, so if you lag, you may see your line actually go up while it's falling and before it hits the ground.
I enjoy getting as many badges as I can, but then games like these and those from Nerdook make me hate badges. They are always the same thing with very insignificant twists.
Haven't even started playing, but I saw this on the front page and got super excited. I loved the first two, and I was always wondering when the next would come out. Screw Diablo 3, I'm playing Monsters' Den!
An account-wide bank would be nice. In WoW, if we get something we don't need on that character, you could always send it to an alt. In here, anything not fitting your spec is just gold. And a waste of an inventory spot.
After you play the game for a while, it reveals a fatal flaw. Eventually, after getting a ton of upgrades (every upgrade is either maxed or second to last level), I find that I get put into fireball mode way too quickly. This normally wouldn't be a problem, except for the fact that the fireball charging rate has diminishing returns. I get the easy fireball charges out of the way at the beginning, and further out it becomes increasingly harder. And when I get further out distance-wise, the fireball becomes more and more of a necessity than a luxury. I can imagine the diminishing returns are there for a reason, though.
TL;DR: Set the fireball mechanic up so that you can save it for later.
I've always thought being popular would be nice... but having everyone want to talk to me, and chasing me when I walk away from them? I don't want to be popular anymore.
While it does what it's supposed to (show what life would be like with rampant censoring), I thought it was an actual game. 1/5. If you wanna protest, go visit any other website. I hear *censored* has a lot of people who voice their opinion.
Why, in the high scores, is "Days to Complete" ranked in descending order? Wouldn't a shorter completion time be more desirable? Or is it a typo, and supposed to say "Days Completed"?
I found a bug where the enemies will spawn, move for a bit, then stop moving and not move again. This happened on multiple levels. Should I restart my browser or just play the game with zero challenge? Hmm...
From what I've seen, when setting up black holes, only one black hole has an effect at a time, except for the level 10 splash damage. It would be much nicer if, with 2 or 3 black holes up, two or three different enemies could be sucked up.
Yes, mail system is on my todo list, I think this is a kewl feature.
