I'm flabbergasted by the amount of Dota 2 referenes.
For instance...
Davion -Knight Davion- Dragon Knight
Barbarian NPC- Axe from dota all the way. has both Counter Helix and Culling Blade
Ranger NPC- Sniper much?
First boss- Hello there, Bristleback
Second boss- Leoric, is that you? You even have the "Ressurect" ultimate. Cute
Third boss/ all giants- Tiny I, Tiny II, Tiny III
Fourth boss- Ey there Kassadin. Long way from League of Legends, huh?
Pouncy fishes- Slark. Now in the Slark mini and Slark medium variants. All of them pouncing
Runes0- Bear a striking resemblance to Dota's runes
I need to give it to them though, it was a fun game I enjoyed. AI is still crappy but everyone said that. Verdict 4/5
I thought it was just me at first, but the guys have the EXACT quotes from Warcraft 3. Crusader->Footman Sorceror-> Piest/SpellBeaker Archer-> Rifleman
Gladiator Workout (or how I learned to make sarcatic remarks)
Gladiator training is a bitch. killing 13 of those guys is hell of a job i can't say i accomplished. But playing through the game i learned some tactics. The mode with Price Somewhoguy is very hard, because of his short range. I would go for ellder, or my personal best, the lil' black orc with a very confused mind. The essence is simple, kill the gladiators...Now here are some types i ran into. 1. Spear: this guy is very weak if you stay close to him. getting there is a whole 'nother problem. 2. Whirler guy: this is where i learned snapping knees is good for your health. take him from behind as mch as possible. 3. Mage guy: Kill him fast before he throws to many glowy balls at you. 4. Archer: check mage and spear. 5.Longsword: This one is a complete pain, guerilla tactics work here. 6.Swordsman: a bit easier than longman, he has more HP than the one named abover. Not enough space to continue
well...time for a comment. The game is pretty balanced, new concept, etc. took me 2 hours to finish it and add a half hour for trying to dig the last level mortar bay. Now the cons. I'ts a good game, but remember it's not, as someone said before, something worth paying for. people, that's what torrents are for. Anyway, kept me busy awhile, and being a completionist made me want to contain the creeper to its source on every level. That's it and in rest, "vox populi, vox dei".
