Is the character's name Robert, is it reading my profile? haha This would be the first time Robert was the main character without it being a stupid or terrible main character.
The text needs realignment in many parts. It's okay to make it smaller when needed. Also, just a side note, it's gets a lot more interesting when you name your guy "Mutha f u c k a". I suggest using the name more just for that.

If not too much trouble, describe the problem in this forum thread (http://www.kongregate.com/forums/618672-ascent/topics/676762-solution-of-technical-problems) preferably with a screenshot of the date on which the game is no longer loaded.
Try clearing your browser's cache (for Firefox article here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache)
What about if you're gathering, chopping, mining, or researching you add your bonus to it but also make the trimps that are working there work a little harder like put fear in them or just like "Hey the boss is here. Look busy!" basically. Just a tiny bonus + if you agree unless it's already a thing I haven't gotten to yet
I'd suggest making a shield or auto targeting missiles drop from the enemies (more passive powerups), giving us the option of arrow keys or WASD, make the health more obvious but not blaring. Like someone said it has the bones of a games now just to add the muscle and flesh it out.
