Overall, thank you very much & kudos: a very fun game, not too much clicking (important since my fingers aren't agile anymore) cool pics, good tutorial, and I especially enjoy having access to the story & unlocked features logs. Keep the good work! o/
Hello, just a few things:
- I lost all my progress (not much: 1 day or so, enough for my first Blessing) after relogging on Kong, without having cleared my cookies nor having restarted the browser.
Then I wish there was:
- a toggle for the cat's quotes
- a floating textbox above the favor's progress bar for Gifts & Blessings (or even more progress bars ^^)
- The Catruto mini-dungeon is stuck at level 10, I wish I knew. (been worrying if it's a bug but I believe it's not, is it?). btw very fond of the concept, are you planning to expand it to all the cats?
- About Achievements Bonus & otherStats, a 3rd column detailing the way it's been unlocked could be helpful.
- The color, size & round corners of the Pause button don't fit the rest of the design.
Hello and thank you very much for all the feedback! I haven't put much work into the Meowruto RPG, which is why it looks and feels unfinished, which it totally is lol. My plan is to create a kind of "minigame" for every cat, but there should be different and fitting genres. For example I want a TCG (trading card game) themed around Hairy Pawter and his variation of Hogwarts, magic and all that. Adding another text to inform the player how each achievement was unlocked won't be too difficult, I'll work on that. I'm not sure what you mean by "a toggle for cat's quotes", if you could explain that to me, I can surely add that :)
Extraordinary experience /s first time in a 20+ years gaming life I have to develop strategies to avoid looting an event currency (currently: eggs). Extremely disappointing rewards considering the amount of premium currency needed to rule events. Even the original Settlers online fixed all this shit 10+y ago.
"Your browser does not support any of the required graphics API for this content." Well, np: i go back to one of the 99.99% of Kong games i can play, eh ^^ Still I'm curious: what is this sooo exotic and exclusive API?
As often in Moczan games (you know? the ones with these very identifiable dark salmon/peach skin colors :D) i'm enjoying the ergonomic, his way of rationalizing the space, and the 2D esthetic. Everything is very clean and readable, simple without any monotony, with slight touches of pixellized elegance o/ kudos, Moczan!
Oh dang this is ridiculous, my last 2 comments were about another game which has nothing in common with BW nor Codename Entertainments oh please noooooo i can't delete iiiit
So. This game is very monotone, but still i've been playing it for 5 years on several platforms, with several nicknames. It could be so good if only the dev team was 1/ efficiently responsive (don't laugh, current improvements like 'Manual/Auto chest opening' are on tasklist since 2015) 2/ honest with its loyals.
oh, this game has become such a waste, such a incredible pile of fixes. Lol even the dev studio doesn't want to be clear on this game's age hahahaha. Oh my, they're around, BETAing for 5 years, yes the game is in beta since 2015 oh lol. What a shame they're even considering the game's evolution as unshareable hahaha
Okay macdo-like trainerer, what are you expecting with this game if not a splendid eiffeltowered middolfinger? No-go, 2/5 (1point for the animation, 1point because i'm weak even if i've been working up to 80h/week in the food field. )
So far (lvl 99 :P) it works fine (even on 10y old machines with an exotic browser \o/) the export/import function (\o/) has been well implemented, the ergonomy suits me (no need to go deeper than 3 clicks in menus) the story is classic but somewhat funny to read, the teaming is classic but well assorted, the evolution is/learning curve is progressive vut not boring (so far),no sup maths needed => 4/5
Lots of fun even if the interface is a bit overcrowded and sometimes difficult to read (to me, but i CTRL++ and everything is fine thanks to the zoom). I haven't 'rebirthed' yet but i enjoy the wide range of features and the very welcome internal help (a treasure of a feature, rarely found in most games i've played on Kong and elsewhere). Kudos, devs!
Clean, original design and system - apart a few optical details (eg. the movable blue pawn could have been enlightened, or contrasted like filled with light turquoise : i keep wasting time when i look for its location) it's easily readable, no issues with the saving system (i wish it'd be cloud-related ^^), the upgrading system is just shady but decipherable enough to give me fun, gz! (4.8)5/5 \o/
12 hours for a raid is easy to manage if we don't start one as soon as it's unlocked. But no saving out of the browser's cache and no possibility of exporting a saving code or file is a real problem. So... 4 days of short interludes, 20 adventurers, 50k gold/s, >600 total level and everything has been lost because, you know, browsers' caches have to be emptied.
If I'd start another session, i probably dedicate a browser profile for this game only - because, besides the absence of secured saving, it's light, well thought, pleasant.
Idle games rewarding for manual clicks sound always weird, especially when it's the only achievement one can get. Anyway, good game so far, even if a little bit slow, with a low rewarding prestige.
