It looks great and the inventory works quite nice. The game is short, but I believe you're working on another game that has more to do. Keep on the good work!! 4/5 to cheer you up!
Okay, now that I finished the game a couple more complaints: The menu system works perfectly, but it was a real hard time for me to tie the string to the magnet! I tried it several times, got frustrated and looked the walkthrough. Then I had still try to combine them about 20 times before it worked. So, that wasn't nice. Another thing was cutting the curtain, that also I tried several times, got frustrated, and looked one of the comments below to see that it needed to click exactly the right spot. I don't know what others think but for me escape games should not be pixel hunting.
123bee has the same problem here again, clickable areas are quite small and just as CeruleanDragon pointed out some stuf is too well hidden in irrational places. So, due to hte lack of the mouse pointer chnge when hovering on something clickable, the game loses much of it's potential. It looks good and the atmosphere is nice, but I'm not getting any further in the game because can't find stuff/figure out what to do. The sofa cutting was nice but at least for now seemed not to do anything good. :) 123bee, keep on goin' and read people's reviews! I'm quessing this would be 3/5 for me...
Nice try, but little hard to get the idea on what to do next. I could never had it solved without the walkthroguh because of the 'hit stone with sword'. It was not very intuitive I think. Also the clickable area for 'look back of the cabinet' was little too small. 2/5.
Quite nice navigation and graphics, but the tasks were little too weird and difficult. Had trouble of putting stuff in exactly right place to get something work. F.ex. Tried many times to drag'n'drop the bullet bomb to the wooden box before got that it must on TOP of the wooden box. That was very nasty. But still for the effort 3/5.
I was able to find the pieces but the key - no chance of finding it without walktrough. I just can't understand how the code for the door should be figured out. I see it in the video walkthrough but can't see any clues in the game for it to be discovered. Nice graphics, but I don't like the "everything is clickable" - only turn the pointer to a hand when hovering on something clickable. 3/5.
Well, it was quite easy/short. But the good thing was, it had very clear and reasonable tasks. If the mouse would change cursor when hovering on something clickable would make it much better. 3/5.
I think it was playable. Quite glitchy, sometimes could click some stuff only after trying very many times. So little more size on the clickable areas, and maybe some more idication on where to click. Idea was kinda good and I eventually got it done. 3/5.
Well, I must say I wasn't expecting too much after the first climpse of the game but it actually was really playable! The graphics weren't the coolest I've seen, but the navigation system functioned great, all the stuff and actions in the game made sense and the best: when you point something important with your mouse the cursor changes!! That is THE most important feature in escape games for me at least. It's 4/5. You get 5/5 if you add some mind-bending puzzle (that still is logical and clues to tell what to do) and make it a bit longer. Way to go!!!
Yes, quite an amusing game. No chance of going through it without walkthrough though. Lots of stuff and lots of room, just the way I like it! The game area is too small, so it's a little difficult to hit all the necessary spots sometimes. But the UI and atmosphere is just like in the great submachine series, so it's good. Way to go, hope to see more!! 4/5.
Been clicking around the first scene about 15 mins and found only two rocks that can be dragged but right after letting go they return to their positions. I hate escape games where you get stuck before any action. Okay, help me out guys, what should I do with the rocks. I've been trying to put them in different places with no luck.
Too difficult with no obvious indicators where to click (mouse pointer change etc.). I liked the art and the atmosphere, but too much click-everywhere-with-anything-on-menu thing going on. Still for effort 3/5.
