I think the solution for the hero souls/gold bonus issue is to add a skill tree. Allow players to spend hero souls on various bonuses of different types. Gold bonus, dps bonus, click bonus, reduce number of required kills to pass a zone, reduce skill activation cooldown, reduce mob hp,, increase boss kill timer, etc.

Wall at area 115. Takes longer to beat that one boss than it takes to go from game start to level 114.

Given the changes to world resets coming in V.5, for those of us ready to reset now, is it better to do it now or to wait for the changes? Also, what happens to world gold bonuses we've already accumulated after the change?

Wow. This game is completely awful. It's entertaining how awful it is. The hitboxes are way off, shop prices don't update after clicking, can't shoot while jumping, random car noises for no obvious reason when nothing's happening, music totally doesn't match the game, random deaths even when nothing's on the screen, bad pacing, annoying persistent third party site ads, gratuitous engrish, and I can't quite tell if the game was given its name to trick people into playing because of the sexual double entendre, of if the author just doesn't speak english well enough to realize what it means.

Apparently buying the world reset ability INSTANTLY uses it. It doesn't need to be activated like every other ability in the game. OOPS.

Anyone have thoughts on when it's best to use Amenhotop's world reset ability? I'm reasonably certain I could reach area 80 twice in the time it would take me to reach are 150 once. If the bonus is 1% per ten areas, I'm wondering if using it as soon and as often as possible is more efficient than aiming for the higher bonus.

Getting frustrating that every time I log on my gem sell values drop by orders of magnitude? I was over a trillion, now they're selling for 73 billion. Day before they they'd dropped like that too. I understand you're rebalancing, but...kind of frustrating to keep losing so much.

Just how much luminosity is needed before solar becomes not completely worthless? Because I just spent several billion energy to get a ship to a star in a galaxy with a binary pair with a 5.57 luminosity bonus. And even in the first ring it's still worthless. Nearly 150 TIMES more cost effective to use power plants that can be placed anywhere and give power balls too. What's the point of this super expensive useless solar building that requires me to have already completely solved my energy issues before it can be as good as a much cheaper building I can usefully build on my very first planet?

Developer response from Apple0726

As Martin said, class O suns (you should find them easily in late game) make them ridiculously OP with their luminosities well over 30k.

Followup: Yeah, I have a solar plant in my best possible location for solar: 2.3 luminosity, first orbit for 1.63 distance bonus...it's FIFTEEN TRILLION for my next single upgrade...the thing is generating 114 energy per second. Completely pointless when I can place a fully upgraded power plant anywhere in the universe I want for like 250 billion that generates 1250/sec.

Developer response from Apple0726

If I buff it a bit though then the panels would generate ridiculous amounts of energy beside a class O sun (it has extremely high luminosity), try finding one of them, they are plentiful in late-game where your rarity divider can go above 1.01.

...umm, you might have overnerfed solar panels. I built solar panels yesterday that were outperforming my maxed level power plants. I think they were like 1700 energy/second. Now, they're generating 30/sec. That's with 2.3 reported luminosity in second orbit. There's no point building more expensive buildings that do less, are finicky about where they're built and don't produce power balls. The whole point of them was that they produce more, and the placement problems and cost was the tradeoff.

Bugs: 1) double-click collecting from an ore mining facility under construction does not collect its crystal, and if you do this, upon completion of construction the crystal is destroyed. 2) Ore crystals don't spawn on ore mining facilities under construction 3) Ore crystals don't spawn on ore mining facilities unless they're actively being viewed by the player.

Developer response from Apple0726

2 and 3 are not bugs, 3 is there to save CPU usage. Imagine you have 6k ore mines and every whatever interval you set in the settings, it has to iterate all that 6000 tiles to check for ores, every single time. That would be laggy, I suppose!

Feature request: would you make the planet list screen remember what we were last looking at? If I want to visit every planet on page 3 of my list, it's annoying having to click next for every page for every planet. Pinned helps if I'm visiting only important planets, but it doesn't even remember if I was last viewing pinned planets, so that's another click every time too.

Bug: during ship design, if you select a metal but than cancel rather than build the ships, the metal is used up anyway.

General comment: The more I play this the more I feel like there's a conceptual flaw. This game seems like it's about galactic conquest, but there's actually very little point to conquering anything. Both the math and the interface heavily favors concentrating effort rather than spreading out. 2-3 planets is enough all ships, all tech and money in the trillions. I'm at that point now, and half my planets are empty. Why bother building anything on them? And at that point...why bother conquering anything? I think this game would be better if conquest were relevant. It isn't really.

Developer response from Apple0726

Currently the only point conquering more planets is to farm resources faster and compete in the leaderboards. But as you said conquering is pretty pointless and in all honesty I've never conquered more than 28 planets in any of my saves. But then, adding new stuff is after fixing critical bugs and flaws, so yeah.

Balance: Researched needs revamping. There are way too much research items that do nothing but unlock research. For example, look at Divergent Laser Research. In order to access it I need to research three unlocks that do absolutely nothing, and even after researching it...it still does nothing. Apparently I need to unlock and research it...then go back at the beginning and researching yet another set of unlocks and the same thing a second time to get any benefit. That's seven research projects that do absolutely nothing except give me the ability to do the eight project that actually gives me a benefit. Way too many projects are nothing but unlocks.

Developer response from Apple0726

I should probably make the parent sciences do something too.

Bug: Using a speedup on a resource-generating building causes it to be credited for resource production as if it had been generating resources for the duration of the speedup. On its one that might not be bad...but speedups are unusable to produce resource on buildings that aren't being upgraded...so it seems inconsistent. I think it's a bug.
