REMOVE the GODDAMN Glitches from this game!!!!
1. A Worker that falls on a working bridge sometimes falls through the bridge (apparently because the game thinks he's already dead just because he fell a little too far).
2. A Bridge that has just been built, and stood fast, collapses after several tries although the design was unchanged
3. Metal Beams, which should be more stable that wooden Beams, have one big Problem: they weigh the bridge down, and apparently do so WAY WAY too much since the mass of ONE metal beam alone can collapse an entire bridge that would have worked otherwise.
4. the length of walks and Beams is calculated incorrectly (or, at least, inconsistently) when building them with an angle other than 90 degrees.
Number 2 is in my eyes the biggest issue with this game since it is COMPLETELY SENSELESS. Also, I must say, that the game obviously glitches more often when you spend fewer money on your bridge regardless of the fact that the bridge(s) would work PERFECTLY.
the green button at the end does not seem to work because in the "original" version it is just a hyperlink to a youtube Rickroll'd Video. I think it does not work anymore because the either the specific youtube link does not exist anymore, or the author does not want to receive any more flame messages. But I tell you, there's NO "Ultimate Prize" like he states, it's just another RickRoll'd Video.
when you press try again after dying, you have no control because he is just showing you a REPLAY of your previous actions. which is a bug, I suppose. please fix, since the only way around this is to reload the page and that pisses me off. also having only one life is pretty bad, I think.
well yeah guys this game has it's disadvantages... but it is beatable, although I must say that from level 15 onward it is entirely luck-dependant if you win or loose a level. The ever faster rising lava isn't that of a problem - but there're just TOO MANY ZOMBIES! I even had to deliberately jump over a lot of them just to keep up pace with the lava. this game must get rid of it's randomness, then it will be fine.
I Think level "Grind" is unbeatable unless the author fixes those damn "Kill you when you touch them with only one f***ing pixel"-spikes! the level already takes you a long time until you get cloud puke and then you have to climb a VERY VERY narrow chimney FULL of Spikes!! this isn't fun anymore, this is TORTURE!!! FIX THOSE DAMN SPIKES!!!! make them at least a LITTLE more tolerant, please. that level is a pain in the ass, really. otherwise, great game, 5/5
that's the engineer. He has some interesting Things to say in his journal, as well as the briefcase code of Dr. Norton (his briefcase is under his bed). take Dr. Nortons OTHER ID card and jack it into the Science computer (the single one, in the room where dr. nortons corpse is). You will see a program with which it is possible to create an antidote... only problem is that it isn't finished and you have to do the rest of the work... but the puzzle's WAY TOO HARD for me to figure out :( someone care to help me out? pls?
as soon as you got all the ID cards except one (there are five people), activate the Comm System with the Computer screen next to the ladder and the Captains ID Card (Montreaux is the captain). then, jack in Nortons ID to the twin computers at the Observatory. You will notice two backup datas under the Logfiles. look at the second one. you will see a body floating into space from the station. note the exact time. then, jack in Nishinas ID and calculate the current position of the body with the given time. use the space suit to jump to that position and take the dead body floating ther with you to the station.
Get this OFF of Kongregate! IMMEDIATELY! this isn't even a game, it's a "Click here to advance"-Story! this is BULLS*** if I want to read a story, I go to the F***ing Library!
It's still bugged, then, since he sometimes will ask you if he should create a save game at slot 1... if you do not want to lose the save game that's stored there, click Cancel. then, the save game that IS there but that flash cannot see will be left untouched. and do NOT try to open a second or third or whatever slot since THAT will cause flash 10 to erase all data for no apparent reason. And when you Die, Flash 10 will not recognize your save game from the Game Over screen but from the Main Menu he will. DO NOT REFRESH PAGE in that case, or the save game will be lost.
it is not fully true that flash player 10 does not save files... he does, but when ingame, he suddenly messes up when you cross zone borders and does not recognize them anymore. BUT you can still save and load without problems, as long as you have disabled autosave function WHEN YOU LOAD UP THE GAME, meaning, make a save state, turn autosave off, then RELOAD PAGE and load save game. it will work from then on. The only thing you have to remember is that you cannot have more than one save game at a time, and right after you saved, leave the save game untouched until you at least defeat one monster. then it works with Flash 10.
@Victorus: Support IS cheaper when you upgrade it, but since you will also be able to call it more often per battle... AND it's cost INCREASE EVERY TIME you call one of them... this should be your explanation.
FAIL. It's one of those "Oh I give you one hundred numbers with symbols but guess what? you cannot possibly get all those numbers as result so i'm setting up a large number of random symbols but all the numbers you may get as result have the same symbol on them, see how this works?". This is FAIL, EPIC FAIL and EPIC FAIL AGAIN since it is just too easy to find out.
guys... for the magic bunny... aim directly RIGHT of one of his shots. Best is with any automatic weapon like the UZI thing there, since it takes LOTS of shots to reverse it's direction. after some hits that DIRECTLY connect to that Fireball thing, it will slow down and finally turn around. when it hits the Shield around the bunny, the shield will go down and you can kick that ugly bunnies ASS. If your firepower isn't strong enough, he will probably raise it's shield again after some time, then just wait for his next shot and repeat the whole procedure. Done.
I'm very sorry to say this, but I rate this one 2/5. 2 because I like the Idea, but it is poorly developed. 1. The Speed is MUCH too fast. Please add a button to turn it up/down. 2. when you're near your goal, to convert the whole city, it gets Solely dependent on luck. The ATF busts so many converts, it's almost impossible to get them all back. 3. The Income and Expenses seem to be bugged. As soon as the City is completely sucked dry, you have fixed Income, before that, it hardly ever rises to 120000. the Expenses always go up, although you do not hire new Staff, and the Staff costs do not change - so WHAT is it that raises your expenses?
Stating all that, you can clearly see this game has lots of bugs which make winning impossible. Please fix and I'll rate higher.
to do lvl 8 (stun the beast) targeting the beast directly does not work, you have to shoot the pink pods. when they are near him, they will stun him with the explosion they give off. you can also stun him with missile or aimed laser powerup hits. I just have no idea how often you have to hit him... in the meantime he wastes your city. and getting game over when you still have buildings is also explained easily: when buildings are grayed out (they look slightly darker than the rest) it means that the squids have succeeded and that building is already Destroyed, but it's still there. you can even see that the aliens do never target a grayed out building. so this is no bug, it's just very, very hard.
