Great game - A longer version with more quests and optional missions is something I am looking forward to. The only powerup I would like to see is a star map that shows the links between the various nexsii (after you have traveled through them) and an asscoiated artifact that maps out all known nexsii. Sometimes it is hard to find where you are suposed to go when you need to go through three nexsii to reach your destination.
While I upgraded fire, water and nail and bought artilary I think it can be beat just using nail and water, using artilary to kill the marshmallows. 11 days.
Hustle: To beat pascal's law empty all your spew into the 2x1 tile room you start in then make your way to the switch and press it. The pressure of the spew will throw some all the way into the far side.
Needs a freestyle mode that requires you to make the biggest most horrific accidents in history with a given layout of roads and traffic lights. Extra points for fatalities!
Only problem I have with the game is there is little reason to use a "lesser" shot after you have gained an upgrade. I would think that the power (read: counterweight) of the trebuchet would increase between using a single and a triple round. As such if you used the single round again, it would have more power than the triple version. Then the single medium would have the same power as the single shot. As such if you used a small shot after getting the triple large boulder, it would be a railgun trebuchet.
This game uses a larger vertical size than Chrome has - same with internet explorer (unless you use the "full screen" mode that hides your address bar etc...) I had to keep scrolling to keep track of my hail stones.
Easy mode: Upgrade your damage with your basic pistol to max, save up for the 2nd SMG and 2nd level scavengers. Upgrade your SMG damage and clip size. Then save up for 3rd level assault rifle and upgrade it to max. Max out scavengers and then buy the Minigun. I had it by level 38. Needless to say the rest of the game was easy.
The lighting effects in this game are great and add a good deal of atmosphere to game. The first time the shadows attack you in the northern part of the cave is is freaky. Only reason I didn't give it 5/5 is that the instructions as to what to do next are a bit vague. "I need a weapon..." I went to get the big lights up from the sprite cave. Lights seemed to have worked so far... But not this time.
Decent game - As others have mentions some glitches subtract from the gameplay - If you "jiggle" the pieces around the keyhole it when gravity would normally drop the piece it will often let you win the level
A other comments have said, there are some pretty serious glitches on more complex levels. I have had wires that move around the screen, detached from everything else... but still conducting a charge.
For people having trouble with levels 9 and 10 - If you put 2 or more of the same element on the same tower you can upgrade it to level 6 (2x the damage, -5 reload and +2 range) I beat the last two levels using only level 6 towers.
If you have the upgrade for money over time and use "next wave" you do not earn the money you would generate over that time, only getting the $1 per second remaining until the next wave.
Needs a short delay between taking hits too - If you are forced into one of the circle ones that spawns in 360 arcs you can lose all your life instantly.
While not a fan of "difference" games I found this one to be less tedious than most. Nice music and a soothing art style add to the atmosphere of the game. 5/5
As outcastX said - Its a nice change to other games but does get repetitive. Only thing it needs IMHO is a restart button on the pause menu. I don't to have to die to start my game again!
