This is a really good roguelike with good control and a nice set of monsters and items. There are a few downsides though:
It's really annoying that you don't auto-attack when you're hit. Also the attack when you use swarm is less than optimal. There's a rather convenient bug where you just gain XP by standing somewhere when the game looks hung-up, you can interrupt the hangup as soon as your stats are high enough.
Awesome game. I especially like the way the story unfolds in a non-linear manner. I'd find it realistic, that a scientist would note down, which objects hurt the subject, and what kind of alteration happens with applying an item - that'd make it easier later to direct the attributes to where i need them. I also would like to see a way to research all items, or just have a button to research the next item i forgot so far. What's a bit of a breaker is that i drop out of the options menu every time i research an item there.
you invest an awful amount of effort to take lots of pictures for your games and then ruin the mood with MS Paint. Try to use photos of stuff instead of painting keys and so on, and make the objects clickable instead of letting us guess which arrows lead to which part of the room.
It's not a button, exactly. But it does exist.
