Adamantia is thinking. She has been for the past 30+ minutes. I can move around the map, so it doesn't seem like the game crash, but what Adamantia is doing and where she is at would be nice to know. Is she at the grocery store? Caught in an endless loop? Trying to figure out how to divide by 0 therefore tearing out the fabric of space and create a black hole in my 3rd Ram stick?
This game desperately needs an "undo move" function. Making a bad move because of a misclick, failed to unselect after checking a unit's range or because of the map auto moving when you put the cursor near the edge is devastating when you always are outnumbered. I feel cheated as if someone moved the chess board just at the moment i'm about to put a piece down and I ended up putting it in the next square to the one I was aiming...
If you do the quests bronze, you get a reward "x", silver, you get a "2x" reward, then gold, you get a "4x" reward, for a total of 7x the base reward. If you beat the gold on the first attempt, you only get the 4x reward, and lose definitively 3/7 (43%) of the potential followers, greatly hindering the game play beyond. The fact that you cannot just remove a unit from the roster and have to clear a board of 6 units to put back the first 5, and again to put back only the 4 first is annoying and time consuming, leads to trying for gold straight away and losing the follower rewards. That is why I left the game the 1rst time, and after a comeback I just remembered and lost a bunch more. Very bad design choice imo...
Space bar doesn't work on a level before clicking, trying to select a cloud lead to draw a rectangle 50% of the time, clicking to send don't always work either. single clicks register as double clicks, especially on level selection page where the external link open a tab to another site, and levels such as the 7th make you start right between 3 clouds that can overwhelm you from start. You lost it on that one...
I loaded the page, game loaded, cool. Snake was west bound, near the wall I was up for action, so I pressed the down arrow. The page scrolled. Scrolled back up to see an admirable score 0 Game over splash screen, without any option to restart a new game. Snakes deserve more respect than that, bro!
Why bad ratings? Because of bugs. 3rd stage I started with a wrong move. Hit quit, then changed my mind. When I ended up my turn and I hit the button end of turn, it went to the menu screen. I haven't manually saved so I lost my progress. There are no upgrades, only temporary bonus... and moving is quite tedious, so basically I don't really feel like starting from scratch. No 5* from me for sure...
Took like 10 mins to load, seems to lag badly, 3-4 seconds delay before anything happens after clicking. I saw a setting for resolution <<1920 x 1080 >> tried clicking on it, on the arrows tried using keyboard arrows, wasd, enter, spacebar, numeric keypad, didnt manage to change anything. Now resume don't work anymore and I'm stuck on pause screen. meh, wasn't playable anyway, bad bad bad.
Rather than checking if the current configuration is working, the game checks against a specific working solution. For this reason many puzzles (at least 3 that I found) have 1 or more alternatives that should be good and doesn't trigger the level's completion.
control that allows you to dig all adjacent unmarked tiles when you've got the proper number of flags marked for the space in traditional minesweeper is clicking BOTH mouse buttons on the tile in question. This is IMO a key feature of the game. Other things that I would like is the ability to remove the darkening on the first row around the game, maybe a pan (by dragging while holding mouse wheel) and zoom functions too. Great concept!
Why is it that we always start short compared to the ai? (less territories and/or units?) How about we play a game of chess in which you start with no queen? Sounds good?
With both Chrome and firefox I get the error "Your browser does not support any of the required graphics API for this content.". What is required to run that game?
Not long ago I gave a comment on the shape of the double painter (which was different shape and size than the single painter thus making all my just finished painting installations kinda obsolete). Today upon loading, I lost the ability to create double painters, even if I have used (and have some on my map). Did you remove them, or are you currently working on modifying them?
All levels past level 12 have moved one level back, since level 12 now unlocks blueprints :) If you still don't have it afterwards, re-importing your savegame should fix it
I like the base. One thing that I like less is the fact that lots of things unlocked make other parts partially obsolete. ie: just spent few hours to make painting arrangements and just as I finished I unlocked the double painter which has another shape than the single painter. To optimize I would need to nuke everything I just made. Even with a copy paste update It would still be counter productive imo and especially bad for all storage that need to be moved.
It took me quite a while to enter the last room (hint: bookshelf!). Also took some time to figure out that hint2: don't mind the sock with smileys. Its a lie! (The cake isn't tho... it was delicious!). Nice game, graphics and ambiance, very well made! Did anyone else felt the urge to try Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A on the console remote? :)
