By far my least favorite of your games. A lot of it is poorly explained. I like when I get a choice at the end of a round about where my skill points go. This is just a bunch of random stats being given out, and I don't even know what they mean. I like the way you get to choose between group missions and personal missions, but the rest is just a mess. You don't even clarify the difference between Heavy, Medium, and Light attacks. At least put the range of damage for your weapon between those attacks on there! I may as well just hit random buttons and hope not to die!
Everybody seems to think that the last boss is impossible... I beat it on my second try when my character's stats were each one away from maxed. I know everybody loves when people say this but maybe you should rethink strategy before whining about a boss, which is obviously intended to be challenging.
"How did I get stuck? Oh, well, ah... well, it's a long story, but let's just say that you should always remember to use a safeword" Good advice from that gnarf!
A lot of people say this is the same as 3D logic. While extremely similar, the fact that he introduced the path limit really makes it very interesting and different. Keep on rocking, don't give up even though people say you aren't original :) Great job, and bless you for catering so nicely to the visually impaired.
Less cheesy graphics, perhaps ones integrated to the pictures used more skillfully, and maybe soothing music that doesn't have words would have made the game better. Also more interesting puzzles would add to it a lot.
4/5 game, but I rated it 5/5 for the incredible wit with which it was made. My favorite was the Burning Ring of Fire, which was said to "Burn, burn, burn". <3 johnny cash, and I was highly entertained by the game as well as the characters and personality throughout.
As much as this has potential, it really doesn't fulfill it. I accredit this to three things - 1: levels are not based on cognitive reasoning so much as timing. 2: most of the levels are extremely straightforward, and the challenging ones are not challenging because I don't know how to do it, but because I don't have some small timing thing right. 3: The sound effects are annoying as hell. I had to mute sound because of how annoying the warp noise was.
How to gain a ton of exp/levels - get a decent pet, put it in an area with critters slightly below level but not too far. Switch to aggressive mode in the middle of a crowd, and leave the room. One hour later, you're rich and fabulous. Or you have a dead pet. :)
@Crystalcrasher2, if you read directions it says to drag the ability squares once you have them down to the squares on the bottom of the screen. In battle, press the square.
That's a reference to the case in the first game, So you DID kind of use it! ;)
