Beautiful game. It shows how our minds attach meaning to abstract shapes so quickly, how we're ready to pick up new concepts. At first I began pushing the arrow buttons, can I do this? Should I do this? Yes-- wait, what's happening? Oooohhh! Cool. Oh, a gun, kill all the things! Pew, pew, pew! Oh, crap, it's getting smaller, and harder, and more a-maze-ing (shut up, I'm funny). Then, suddenly, oh, crap, I got hit. I could die, I git hit five more times, I can't die! Wow, it almost seems like my character moves more slowly or quickly as he scales up and down. Cool, I'll just come back up for those coins and... I died. I can die. Crap. Doesn't matter, had fun... going to beat it. Great game concept and in 48 hours? Really? Devs, pay attention. That was awesome. GJ1!! :)
A fun, playable game. 3/5. Some picky things, the first thing that made me want to comment because I'm a dick: "Provides better weaponry such as Heavy Armor"? It should be equipment instead of weaponry. I'm sure people have said it a thousand times, but Auto Save. Also, some menu fixes and UI changes would be nice, such as being able to create and send army units from the same place, and making the tutorial less wordy, bigger font (for us old folks), and just improvements all around (make it more interactive, maybe?). It's a cute game, without any gore or trying to be too much. I have fun playing it, but wish the catapult was more complicated (physics). It would be cool to see the map more than just when the next army invades. Thanks for making the game and developing!
"Click on the to call the remotely". You mean click on the thing to call the thing to make radio waves come out of it? And how close does it have to be to a cat? For goodness' sake.
Cool game. I didn't really need the mines. I knew that a mini-gun would be the key to all my problems.
Easy build: start with money and xp upgrades, get some accuracy and reload, work from there. Maybe follow it up with some health and regeneration upgrades. Get new guns soon as you can afford them. The car durability isn't really needed but is nice by the time you get the spitfire. If you just jump around and shoot most of the game you can refill your life from the shop when you are low on hp. Also you can repair and reload, as someone else (LordofMinecraft) said.
Great thinking when making this game. I noticed that if I go back and play earlier levels it unlocks the next level even though I hadn't beaten the one just before it. For instance, when I get to level three as the next level and click level 1 to play it again, level 4 unlocks. Then if I play level 2 and win, level five unlocks. When I beat level 3 with level five unlocked, level 6 unlocks, and so on (I assume). As others have said, harder words or nerfed mana growth for faster typers.
Kept getting acheivements over and over again. Ones that I received multiple times: ponies (especially ponies), arthur, sheep lover, and killing spree. I know there were others, but those are the ones I recall.
I forgot the other part of my comment, in which this is a really awesome game... a good twist on the zombies genre... zombie civilizations? Hmm? Maybe? Maaaayyybeee? Maybe a little mmmmonlogue, a little plot twist? Some rising action followed by a denouement? Family Guy leaking out of my brain... seriuously, though, just thinking along the lines of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies.
