I propose a new system called Backplane Modification System. Essentially it's time to create a new game with new mechanics *under* this game. In my extended post I'm trying to deal with uselessness of heat exchange system and try to create more customization capability. Please read more at http://pastebin.com/iF5jWcTS
I think at this rate we need a "replacer" tool. Icon would look like a refresh symbol. When you click, it will replace whatever's underneath it with a fresh one (you pay the cost of course). Works with coolants and fuel cells.
If implemented properly, with scenarios, constraints, and resource limits this could be a game that would be a miniature SpaceChem. What I think it needs: [1] A sell-all option, of course cannot be used as emergency bailout. (Can only be used when there's less than 30% heat and it's not increasing) [2] Time compression, as it's quite boring to experiment with a certain model and wait. Of course, time compression means the reactor blows up faster if you fail to control heat. [3] Overlays, such as heat density and pulse distribution. "Heat Bars" on each component make me squint. [4] Use pictorial or list to display property of each component. Going all-verbose makes it hard to focus.
I would like to see other options, such as solar settings (distance from star, etc), atmospheric properties (determines how hot the planet is), terrain elevation, etc.
"Sir, please protect us! We will stay behind you until you finish your task here." "No. It's unsafe out there." "Sir, we really wish to follow." "Are you out of your mind? The mass rating is over 9000 out there, with two trolls blocking the alley. I can't let you risk that." "Sir, we are determined. We will follow you anyway." *Knightly facepalm
From jmtb, we had seen Achievement Unlocked, which was a great satire game on achievements. This is another game in the same vein: we are being sarcastic towards UPGRADES and IDLE GAMES here.
Advanced control that uses throttle instead of "gas pedal" would be great. Reminds me of all those old days space games. Next: add corvettes, frigates, battleships, and more.
Great game. Seeing frustrated people on the comments area, you should add an easy level set with "tools" such as "view this net" or "highlight opposing side" so they can learn about the nets before jumping into the game.
The game isn't even comprehensive enough to warrant merchantability, but you're asking for kreds?!
On another note, when you disassemble guns, you lay parts in order, not explode it all over the 3D world. That's unrealistically hard.
10: Even a cat can play it. I want next game now, maybe something like "0", where endless blocks appear and you must zero them out to remove them from screen.
Nope.
