The AI could be a bit smarter, or have different flavors: aggressive, evasive, determined, etc.. Maybe a set of objectives for the less creative players, e.g. "Manipulate the race so Red wins after 2000m without killing anyone", "Stall all cars equally: keep spread less than 250m", "Kill whoever leading the race using only one hazard cube after 3000m", etc.
It would be perfect if there was some transitioning between times that we can "cancel" or something similar to "peek" into other times. Any of these two would reduce the frustration while keeping the concept.
Great game. Representation and mechanics are intuitive and believable to casual players (this is not a full-fledged "war-and-politics" game after all!) However it suffers one downfalls many games have: Wall of text. If only wall of text is not essential reading it would be better.
The introduction of Friendly Fire concept is a very good improvement over traditional "die and upgrade" shooters. However, you need to delete one of the duplicates before I can rate. Witih good faith I currently assume that you have problems "updating" the game.
