I don't understand why developers wouldn't make sure the game works on all browsers before uploading it. Just seems lazy and/or irresponsible. Chrome isn't the only browser, and it's not the best one, either.
Hi Lustre, can you share with me the browser and ideally computer/operating system you are using so we can check what is going on and try to fix it? Either here or in a private message, as you prefer. We did test the game from our computers on most popular browsers. For us, it worked well for Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Edge with Chrome being the smoothest experience. For Safari it loads in a decent time, but then the FPS is bad so not recommended. For Internet Explorer, the browser is not supported, but you are prompted with a message about this before trying to play the game.
Hi Lustre, very sorry to hear that - indeed 10 min is waaay too much. First loading time should typically take between 20 and 40 seconds. If it takes more, please try refreshing the page. The loading time takes more than what you are used to because we made the game in Unity, which allows us faster iterations and update times, however, impacts the loading time. Hope this will not stop you from playing the game. If you decide to stick with us and you have any improvement ideas or feedback we are more than happy to listen.
Why is the game window larger than the monitor? Can't you make it smaller? I see plenty of space that you can cut down on so it fits the whole thing on my screen without the need to scroll up or down.
This is just an easy version of games already out there. The numbers make the paths very apparent. I prefer the ones with no numbers. More pattern recognition required for those.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. The very early game is fairly non-idle but that doesn't last too long. Everything that can be idled can be done actively a bit faster, but as the characters progress, idling becomes a much more likely choice.
I may look into what I could potentially change to make it 'seem' less like an active game though and show that idling is infact an decent route (could just be a tweaking of some numbers).
Thanks for playing.
The "flying" physics pisses me off. I have a superior ship, but because of how my ship swings compared to their ship, they get the advantage? That's just stupid.
Hello!
Thank you for your review. Your opinion is really important to us.
We are planning to add some pilot function in one of the future update. We hope it should fix some issues for you.
Seeing a lot of people I agree with saying there needs to be an auto-merge system. Please implement that soon or there will be no reason to play further.
D + click will merge all copies of an item onto the clicked target. I cant give full automerge or afking would get ridiculously Op, you'd max every set in a night. I have plans to let you select one equipment slot that will effective apply auto merge to that slot.
For some reason all of the sudden the game registers my keyboard as pressing up only, and I can only move side to side by using the momentum from my shots. As far as I can tell nothing fixes this except refreshing the page.
Games like this get high ratings because kids play on this site and rate based on limited understanding of games and just on how it looks and initial gameplay. I really hate kids.
I guess the dev of this game didn't bother to check to see if there's a game with the same name on Kong. Even funnier because SHIFT was very popular back in the day and has several sequels. Embarrassing, really.
I uploaded a new version which should address this problem.
