Besides the blatent likeness to transformice, there are a few things that could be improved of. The game controls seem laggy, even on low quality, and even a bit over sensitive. The graphics for the squirrels are cute, but the level graphics are not up to par to them. It also bothers me that all the clothes can only be purchased with the coins, which, though can be bought with acorns, would most likely needed to be bought with kreds. My first impression of this game is that it was designed to make money, and that is never a good sign.
So far, the game has been fun, but I think I have a glitch. I have enough scrap to build rooms, but anything I try to build says I don't have enough, even traps, its all red, but it says I have enough on my count. This started after I lost my first raid, and I lost 2 people, and my generator room. Now I can't seem to build it or anything else back. Besides this, I was really enjoying the game, but I think I might have to restart. I'm still giving it 4/5, The gameplay is good, and I don't seem to be loosing interest. The graphics compliment it well. I thought it was balanced, with the right amount of difficulty. Overall, a good game, and hopefully, in my new game I won't get glitched again.
@DavidsMe, Four animals will fit in an animal cage tops
@johnnzhu I believe when the tree gets to about twice the size of your house, its good. A full grown tree gives 5 wood without research. Just pay attention to the height of the trees, and that is a big clue of how grown they are.
Overall a good game. Also its not incredibly fancy graphics, it fits the game well, and the music compliments it well, too. I didn't find hardmode very difficult, and finished upgrading, and building my self substaining farm but about my third death. Perhaps random events would make hardmode more interesting, like a drought, which makes plants grow twice as long, or a tornado, which makes you randomly lose buildings or plants. It would expand the game, and make the basic button pushing of a well developed farm more enjoyable.
I'm not exactly sure what some of you guys are complaining about it being hard. I do agree, that in the beginning, it was a lot to take in, but by the end of the first 5 weeks, I had the hang of it. By the 35th week, I completed all of the contracts, and by the 49.3 week ( I cut it close) I got all of the achievements, this all in my first go. Sure, I had to balance between creating new products, and mass producing old ones, but once I had my first 20 thousand credits, it was smooth sailing. Overall, it was a fun game, though I will admit, a long one.
You know what stinks about this game being stolen? I didn't realize until I'd spent like two hours playing =p. BTW, next time you steal someone else's work "BlogServer", try to have better grammar skills in your "Updates" tab. It totally threw off the unity.
"I told you, it's only for emergencies. Your health condition is fine." Said just before I died of bad health. Not sure if its a glitch, or if LIS was just being a jerk.
I agree with the copied and pasted look, but otherwise, I thought it had great potential. I think having upgrades is great and the actual plot is nice.
Seems a bit glitchy. Going up a ramp, I kept going through it, which was weird. It would have been nice if you could do more than one trick at a time, instead of having one trick per jump. Also, you can just spam jump and a trick, without going on any ramps or doing any railing.
I'm not sure of the purpose of posting a test game on Kongregate. There is no storyline, and although it has nice looking graphics for an online game, that can be said about any Unity game. I suppose if you just wanted to make sure it worked at all, but can't you do that without posting it?
The controls are awkward and confusing. It is hard to steer, and as far as I could tell, impossible to land without damage. I couldn't even make it back to the hanger. It needs some work, definitely, but hey, don't give up.
