If you return to the main menu before playing your first game in a season, the next time you continue career it brings up the trade again with different players. I used this to fill my team with all 5 star players in division 1. You can also get lower prices on trades by checking the offer again and again and the price will change each time.

it could be better. i enjoyed the feel of old school platform games but it was repetitive. not bad.
