OK, I figured out there will be a change. Given my current processor boosts, once I get to the 73rd update, it will be better to update the processors. Then, its back to the basic upgrade until upgrade 127, at which point the processors should be set to x200. Then its time to upgrade to CPU x 225 at upgrade 137.
I can't go further up because I haven't figure out the formula by which the CPU isotope cost goes up.
Is there something I'm missing about matter boosts vs processor upgrades? I made myself a little spreadsheet to optimize point allocation and it seems like matter boost keeps beating the processor upgrades and is increasing the value gap. I'm assuming that's because it's getting a near-linear upgrade cost with an exponential multiplier gain? Or is there something I'm not seeing?
This is the first flash game I've actually hated. The clicking thing is just a little too fast for me to work with and that makes this game nothing but frustrating.
How do you watch the video to keep going? The boss at level 20 is pretty much impossible to dodge with thepotato ship and keyboard keys, and unless I grind a $20.000 weapon 500 coins at a time it will be impossible to beat this.
Here is the least meaningful tweak possible:
I just noticed that you get the notification that you got 1AP from growing up right before being notified that you grew up. If you feel like getting all OCD on your code, you could check the notification order so that you get the grow up notification first, then the 1 AP extra.
Carry on then, good work.
A good puzzle to start is Cattlyn's - the parts to look at are the patterns (then, look for the crabs) and the colors of the sound explosions that will tell you which item to use on which crab.
