There's some annoying glitch/thing that happens when you buy an upgrade. The upgrade icon will just sit there spinning for a several minutes and wont give you the upgrade, but will take away the blops.
This is a wonderfully creative game. I come on Kongregate to find games like these. Developers are far more likely to be creative and make games that are a little odd, different from the majority of the games that come out today. It was a pleasure to play this. Though it wasn't "too" challenging, it was very fun.
Wait. Wait wait wait. You have no idea of the crime that you've committed. I upgraded my assault rifle to bouncing bullet (which is an awesome upgrade btw) and my bullets turned blue. Previously I was shooing bees. BEES. I WAS SHOOTING BEES. That is the best idea I've ever seen, and you took it away from me. I want that back. I need the bees.
The only significant issue I have with this game is that there are some grammatical issues. They're honestly not that big of a deal, but for someone who majors in English it tends to bother me... But that's just me xD
How does TEONM[Z" translate to critical? Could use some coding fixes.... A lot of coding fixes, but it's pretty fun. It has a lot of potential, but you need to play test it before putting it up. It's kind of a simple thing to avoid.
Ok, so in a game like this, I want answers. Unfortunately, the ending didn't give me that. Is there going to be a sequel? Or are you going to have to write a small novella of an epilogue to explain what happened to Christina?
Undoing is probably my favorite thing about this game.... It's funny because that sounds kind of... Backwards.
Anyway, when I first saw this game tagged as "math", I immediately turned away from it. I saw that it was rated highly though, so I decided to check it out. At first it was really simple and I thought I was going to get bored of the lack of challenge, but I kept going. I'm happy that I did too. You've made a game about making 10's through puzzles and notes really fun. I'm still waiting on whatever the little trinkets do. Good job though, I'm thoroughly impressed.
Ok, so sheep surfing is probably one of the best things I've seen on this entire website. Thank you so much for that. That made my day.
On a different note, I've noticed that you're getting a lot of complaints about the upgrades. As much as I can agree with what they're saying, I'm actually ok with the majority of them. If you started with a permanent magnet it would be too easy. The amount of money that you get in the game isn't that much per round, but it's enough to satisfy more playthroughs of the game. Games like this are based on replay value, allowing you to play for an extended period of time and that's why I like them.
It's a shame that such a creative game could be beaten in such a short span of time. You came up with a lot of clever ideas, but there wasn't quite enough variety. you did well with the music, the animation, and the art, but the voice acting was a little too bland. A little more emotion would be nice, even if it's mock emotion. Overall it was an enjoyable game, but a couple flaws here and there. I would very much enjoy a sequel to this. 4/5
Also, on level 47, what where the invisible objects? There was one where the shadow told me to roll, but I jumped instead, but I didn't die. Just curious as to what was floating. Maybe I just had the right angle, jumping off of the curve?
The entire game is creative and well done. The controls are simple and the levels are "potentially" repetitive, you have a way of switching up the rules to keep it interesting. I especially like the level with the cogs that moved when you did. Then there was the level where it's just you sliding and waiting for the clock to hit midnight. That level was great because it came out of nowhere. The final boss was frustrating, but merely because it took forever for him to pop his head up again once he killed you. Even with that downside that last boss was very rewarding when you finally beat him, and the concept of making him the last boss was great.
Overall I very much enjoyed this game. I'm always waiting for a new soul game to come out. They're some of my favorite games here on Kong.
There isn't a guy going around every day rebuilding everything, zombies just really like architecture. That's why they're running after you, trying to get you to stop running down all their hard work.
This concept is amazing.... I was kind of hoping for more.
Also we should get a chain going on how many Viktors it took to beat the game. It took 15 for me.
My only issue with this is that you can't scroll by clicking the scroll bar. Every time I use the mouse wheel it scroll the entire page, not just the game, so it gets a little annoying. I might be the only one with the problem, Idk.
Fantastic review! So glad you tried it and enjoyed 10! Thanks Magical Kiwi!
