missions that require you to use a special are cool because they encourage you to try it out. the second time, they ask you to swap back... ew. still, great game.
The blue ones are immune to roots and spikes (like all flying monsters) as well as poison (like all undead monsters.) The purple one that shows up in levels with graves cannot be killed.
This game is very fun. One thing I did not like is that some creatures evolve from melee to range then back again. Without a clear "this creature is this role" I was a little confused at times. Still a 5 star game for sure.
this game is a great example of how a smooth presentation can turn a 3/5 game into a 4.5/5. just add a little more balance (many of the units are just inferior to the basics) and we're looking at an easy 5 stars.
Some of the lines are pretty funny, which is nice.
There may be a memory leak somewhere in there, there is some slowdown as the games goes on. You're not using getnexthighestdepth() are you? =p anyways, well worth 5$, thanks!
This game sets new expectations for tower defenses- with the wonderful visual extras and fun boss fights, I'll be expecting more from every new TD to come.
Very well made, you are full of mechanical talent and it shows. I cannot wait to see the sequel- if you keep the polish from this game and add more game play choices we'll be looking at one of the best TDs out there. Don't hesitate to rip ideas from other games- damage types, stealth units and towers that see them, status effects like slow or damage over time, units that skip part of the path or are invincible for a short time, units that spawn other units... the list goes on. The best part is that you already have great graphics for all of these things- we really don't need 10 versions of the same gun.
Thanks for your hard work!
Agree! That's on the list for improvements! Thank you for the play and the comment! I appreciate it! Best, -Tim
