I moved a piece around, and it disappeared... then when I had one more gap left in the ring, the dragon decided to breath his fire... buggy game and randomized tiles are just stupid...
On another note, if you try making another game, zoom the screen out. If you look at most of the successful games like this, they are very zoomed out. This 1) makes your art look better, since its smaller, 2) allow more enemies (that can be dealt with in a reasonable manner) on screen, and 3) allow different tacticts to arise (for example, if there are enemies spread far apart all around versus 10 all in one spot).
Just my 2 cents, its obviously an amateur attempt, but you did well in taking a proved gameplay mechanic, and mixing it up (defending a moving object). Make another, and I think you could have a future in... flash... game... development?
This is a really good platformer... but I have to agree with stphn... the controls are so sloppy this game become unplayable, and a lot of little things, like knowing when you're being hit, is unintuitive... you put so much work into this, just make sure you test playing it before ending the project...
