I get some serious hang ups when I'm in the dungeons :/

It would be nice to have an indicator that would tell us how many upgrades are left to buy, i.e. Life span 9/20(?). I'm in Greenland and I have no idea how many upgrades are left to get the Mad Scientist achievement.

Umm... I got 99,5% completion and I need one more gem to buy RADAR from Junior. The problem is I've already found 100% of gems and after spending most of them I have 149 gems. Help? :(
