Boomshine is very pretty, there's no contesting that, but it fails to sufficiently expand on its elegant, but limitingly simple core. It's essentially a cool graphics demo--could one honestly say there is any sort of substantial gameplay to be found here?
The developer should work on integrating all of the things discerning flash gamers have come to expect--just think of the wonders a combo or powerup system could do for this engine.
Classic example of a game with great potential that suffers from horrid execution. From the inaccurate arrow-pointer to the unnecessarily weak shots to the shoddy physics, this game needs a capable developer. Good style and conception can't carry it.
