TO BEAT CHALLENGE 4:
If your shield is too close to the dragon it cant/won't shoot at it. The trick is keeping your shield close enough to be the distraction, but about a bot and a half length away. This is extremely annoying and requires frantic clicking and a small ammount of luck.
Challenge four is the hardest.
