I forge weapons, odd, dangerous, weapons. And have made some pretty fair ones in my time, my time being different than your time of course…

short back story: I was raised in the future, but not the future your thinking of, yes we had anti gravity, some people had meals in pill form, but it was a dark time. both in the literal sense, The Overlord had a giant choke hold on electricity, and it was also an even greater depression than the one you know of. everyone was poor, except The Overlord, and everyonehad to take any jobs they could, i was an accomplished weapons smith and got pretty fair money for it, no one attacked me because i was the only main supplier of protection. but then, The Overlord found out I was supplying the public with “armaments for a mass rebellion” to the people he had under his thumb. one night I just woke up and I was in a new place, a forest of some sort, and had a note that read: YOU HAVE BEEN EXILED AND ARE FROM NOW ON, NOT ALLOWED TO FIND THE CITY, YOU ARE IN A NEW TIME, ENJOY IT!

on the bright side, due to my many years in the slums, i have listened and talked to many’a people, some warriors, some wizards and some drunkards, all of whom have shared their secrets giving me the ability to conjure up things called wisps, but not the wisps your thinking of. the are elemental wisps, i have a generator for them, which can combine them to make different kinds of wisps. plus, i can conjure all i have info about at will. and i vow that one day, i will avenge myself, and Over throw The Overlord.
