Physics are kind of unforgiving, like how you can't jump after you get bounced into the air by small bumps. There are some flaws, and the thing sometimes doesn't attack enough. I'd say solid though. And whoever I saw who quit because it made fun of the PS3... bah, you know what I'm gonna get it. Just let it slide, man.
Definitely agree with the "should be at least one pill on the screen at a time" thing, or at least have a smaller maximum gap of time. Otherwise odd and fun.
I have to amend what I said a little bit.
It seemed like everything was being absorbed because I was using Necromancers, and the enemies were Energy-absorbing.
HOWEVER, the game nowhere says Necromancers attacked with Energy. Not in the Pedia, or anywhere else. My planning was not flawed at all, I was just not told.
Might be a bit too hard. One can have a perfect strategy, only to get surprise-screwed in the 2nd last mission of a marathon by an enemy that absorbs everything but one element, and since you can't sell units, everything will be healing the bastard. I find this to be a big strike to the game. But, the rest of it is very solid. It's quite ironic, since the game tells you that you shouldn't be able to sell units because making mistakes is part of the player's fault, but you can re-assign skills whenever you please. I suppose skills can be screwed in the long-run, though. ANYWAYS, I'm throwing in a 4/5.
