Best game in Kongregate, period. And it is good because it is hard, it makes you come back again for more, but it is not impossible. It is not a game for quitters! I played the #1 Gemcraft a few times, less than 10. DTD, I have played over a 100 times!!!
To turn on the auto fire (I'm using Chrome), I hold A and then I press Alt. The game freezes. I click anywhere in the game and it resumes, with the auto-fire on. The same can be done with the S (for the elemental arrows).
Take it easy on the spelling. The guy (like me) is brazilian. But there are a lot of mistakes in portuguese too... I guess he typed the texts in a hurry...
Zaiker, I would recommend building 3 paths. Two short ones and one big. There's a simple reason for that: in the late game, selling a tower takes a long time, and you'll need to close the 2 short paths for a little time (while one of the towers is being sold). The creeps will take the third way but as soon as one of the short paths opens up, they will return...
Feraldis, whether you like the idea of the game or not, you cannot deny it is well developed. It is not easy nor impossible, keeping me coming back trying to get all the awards. I don't have them all, but each day I get a new one, so I'm not giving up. Yesterday, I killed the razor queen. Until the end of september, I think I get all the awards. After that, I may stop playing. Compare this to other games in kongregate, and you will understand why it is a 5/5.
Sradac, it is really a lot of fun, until you finish it. I don't see much replay value. Desktop Tower Defense 1.5, in the other hand, provided me hours, days and months of fun, until I managed to get the impossible badge. After that, I still played for a few days, improving my technique....
Thanks for the tips, Enfierno. The massive damage worked perfectly. I was think I would never pierce that armor. And I got a bug. My mage crippled the boss to 1 point, but my massive damage mage made the boss absorb life, getting 400/1?!?! A health bar appeared in the middle of the screen, streching all way from the left to the right...
