Hardest part of this game was figuring out to how far each action takes you. The movement feels very disjointed and was normally the only reason I died.
The progress in the game is too easy once you get about halfway. I had all the characters maxed somewhere around level 6-7 (Unit level 8 is maxed). The last level is way too easy as it only took 3 turns. Can't attack on the first turn, killed 2 on the second and 1 on the third. Sniper is also far weaker than assault rifle since it has no melee ability. Not worth the purchase.
@darkniko for override I just set up quickly a collector network while setting up 2 cannons set up at the break point. then set up about 3 mortars per pit of creeper. After that, just slowly push forwards with cannons and sprayers. Use mortars and/or flying units (don't remember if you have them at that point) to weaken the defenses over the wall and drop a few cannons over at once where they can get ammo from a collector. You'll get past that one easy. The only hard part is making sure you don't die right away.
Just to add to Devak's comment, the purple ring will also boost nullifier range. If there is a second object you want to destroy anywhere close to the first you can probably just use the ring to boost the range and you won't have to clear as much creeper.
Not bad game overall. Troop management is difficult, gets really repetitive fast. The hard badge isn't really that hard either, it just takes a while. You can choose 1 good strategy and use it for all levels after you unlock a few units.
I just got to 80 000 score without moving (@lvl 4 with the magnet). It's funny that you can get that far without doing any work. That said, it's a well made and fun game.
I liked the game, but after working towards the hard badge I have become extremely frustrated by how much luck this gamme requires tog et a 3 star rating and it is no longer fun.
these games where you have to run around in circles forever and not being able to stop the mass of random enemies from constantly hititng u and getting in your way is quite annyoing.
