Is it possible to gain coins beyond 2? I'm confused as to whether to keep playing after buying the 5-D tangerine.

Got to level 19, had a lot of fun thinking this is a fun development on the TD genre. After level 19, it became apparent i had to cash in order to progress. So i reset my game, and this time I spent 15 stars to try one of those "bonus rounds". Maybe I'm not too good at this game, but it seems to me you're trying too hard for cash. I got nothing but a Detector and Lightning for such a huge expenditure. I'm done with this game. Thank you very much and good try. Maybe make it more obvious that if you fail on a "bonus mission" you do not get to keep trying for 19+ hours without paying another 15 stars.
