This makes me sad. IcyGifts is my favourite game on-site (and one of my favourite games of all time) but this game spits on its legacy. You sold out like Nintendo is gradually doing with Pokemon and what Blizzard did with World of Warcraft WotLK. I don't know if you did this for the money/popularity or because we loved IcyGifts so much, but you shouldn't make the same game with a different title. Try something like what Nerdook has going on: different games and different genres but each with a clear, defined style that helps to make almost every game a gem. Tl;dr, ily IcyGifts, ihy Flying Candy.
I love the feeling you get when you're stuck for a while then you find the spot that was giving you a problem, then solving that spot opens up another spot, which open up another, and you get to fill in a whole bunch of squares :). One of my favourite puzzle games on site. 5/5.
God I love the menu system. The buttons look great and are fun to click and I love the squishy sound they make when you hover over them or click them. Something really overlooked in the game but I think it's brilliant. Oh and I really liked bouncing on gummi bears too =D
normally I love a good nerdook game but some of these levels definately felt like a grind (dieing halfway through the last wave before the final boss makes me want to commit suicide). I guess it is only a couple minutes grind but it feels just so much longer as all you are really doing is spam click.
I feel bad for critiqueing the creator of some of my most favourite games but it has to be said. HOWEVER, I did LOVE the game for the first 10 or so levels: the combo attack thing was brilliantly fun. It's just missing...something (and that something isn't more levels that are even longer).
That is the most goddamn awesome gun I have used in a game for a long time - and it's used for non-violent purposes! Great looking, creative and original, effective controls and a good quick burst of fun - 5/5!
Game has crashed for me twice (only game to ever crash for me on Kong) and sometimes the bigger levels were just stupid because I couldn't see where I was shooting. Apart from that though great game with some good use of gravity systems and achievements and different gun use. Like Worms but in space :) 4/5 down from 5/5
Game seemed a bit long to me, the progression is a lot slower than other games of this type. Perhaps thrust could be more effective or some of the middle upgrades a little cheaper?
