piman:
#1 Troop: Turtle. a raid can't be successful without one
#2 Troop: Goblin. a raid isn't worth it without at least two
#3 Troop: really depends on your spells and upgrades
I've discovered something incredibly weird, that is perhaps exploitable and perhaps not--
I am running the game on two different Kong Accounts in two different browsers:
my IE Kong account seems to have somehow become slaved to my Chrome account--- the game does not save any progress in my IE account, but it does save Kred multipliers and such.
the game DOES save successfully in Chrome. whatever progress I've made in Chrome, that is what my IE progress becomes, Angel Investors and everything.
please disregard my complaint about saving-- I did not understand how to use the Import/Export feature before-- now I have my file saved in a Word Doc on my desktop!
LOOVE the game :D
Dear AdCap Developers:
I have had a major problem with the Import/Export feature:
For some reason, I cannot get my game to save normally and preserve my progresss when I use this. I have resorted to spending days using the Time Trick (where you set your game clock to a point in the future to simulate much more time passing than normal) to try to recoup lost days.
No matter what I do, I cannot get past 16,000 Angels because it just won't save. If I leave the page or turn off the computer, I get reset back to having 16,000 Angels.
I could always just change the whole way I play to be pure Time Warping, but I'm frustrated having to resort to cheating to get to play at all. I got tired after working all the way up to Quindecillion Angels in one day through repeated cheating only to have the next day be right back at 16000 Angels.
I would like to just have the game remember my progress if that's at all possible.
Request: Can the Next Update have a more powerful Time Warp capability at the cost of many zillions of Angels instead of the Kong Credits? Powerful being more than a day, at least 10 Weeks? or a Year? or 10 Years? Maybe Scaled three or four different Time Warps for different Angel Amounts?
When I view my achievements window, everything is nice and orderly except that the position of the "Boss Exterminator" and "Zone Explorer" badges seems to have been switched.
There are 7 unit types you can use and 15 levels. For additional challenge:
try only letting yourself use new units every 3 levels.
Level 1 and 2 with just Hobbits
Level 3 and 4 with just Hobbits and Elves
Level 5 and 6 with just Hobbits, Elves, and Dwarves
Level 7 and 8 with "Full Fellowship" (Hobbits - Wizards)
Level 9 and 10 with Golems
Level 11 and 12 with Dragons
Level 13 and 14 with Angels
Right now I'm using Angels on level 11? I think this would be really difficult to follow starting at level 8! Centaurs and Fire Devils are kind of tough even with Arrow Towers. Oh, and limit yourself to only leveling the Arrows up to L.2 Ice or Thunder, L. 3 or 4 Fire, and L3. Normal Arrows!!!!
Level up your units as high as you can before buying new units.
What I love most about this game is that it teaches itself to you =)
The War becomes not a Quest of Conquest, but a Desperate Fight to Survive. When you get Desperate, you get Smart, and you learn almost all the tricks you need to know. The only little thing I'd mention is the Arrow Gitch, but as the game is such an Old Classic, I will assume everyone knows how to do it. If you don't, when you figure it out you will LOVE it. ^_^
I think the game would be completely find and fun if the upgrades just went up to level 10. :)
level 5 everythings can take out Boss 4 quite easily.
Boss 6 and 7 can barely be reached unless you stay on one side of the screen hiding for dear life from one half of the enemy army :P
I LIKE that we don't get credits unless we kill the boss- makes me feel like an assassin :P it's a unique feature that makes your game standout! don't change that!
do make it so we get more upgrades so we can beat the late levels :)
unlocked the Cool Menu. Beat level 12 in 30 seconds; level 13 killed me, level 10 was the only other level that challenge me....god you get SOO powerful....:D
Idea: I want a SECOND Heat Ray :)
LIKE THIS SO PEOPLE SEE IT!
How to Peace the Bosses:
The biggest thing about this whole game is being fast with the arrows. The guided Missile Boss ON HIS OWN is easy to take out, same Red Soldier, same Flamethrower.....a mix of any of those guys coming down on you is like playing Chess against an opponent with too many Rooks.
FOR THE TRIPLE BOSS BATTLE:
The Axe Thrower has to be taken out first! HE THROWS AXES IN PATTERNS!
it's Top, Middle, Down, Top, Middle, Down, Middle!
The Axes clog up your visibility BADLY in that last fight. Judicial use of EMP and Grenades helps you get early hits in on any ONE Boss you concentrate Fire on in the Last Fight. You should not need to Upgrade past 5 on anything to beat the 30th Wave.
