They don't need to be re-researched, they just reappear in the list, so that you can re-build them. Regarding your other question/suggestion: I keep this in mind, when I reiterate on the research/deployment list the next time.
Can you place all our minimized producers into some sort of folder labeled "Hidden or something so all the producers I don't need don't clog up the top of my list?
How to succeed in Apple Worm:
1) Look at the level.
2) Ask yourself how you would do the level.
3) That plan is wrong, do something else.
Really good puzzle design here.
Would it be possible for each producer to have its respective inputs and outputs visible at a glance as opposed to inside the tooltip?
That'd help a lot with setups.
I'm not sure what you mean. You can see the inputs and outputs on the "workshop floor" through the arrows. You might need to turn them on in the settings.
I'm not sure which aspect of the lategame red walls annoys me more: the fact that they're there or the fact that it's just *barely* possible to roll around them.
On any wall where the character sticks momentarily, you can climb it by jumping, moving a tiny bit away from the wall, then moving back. I climbed over the invisible boundary on Level 4 this way.
To all those who complain about lost progress: If your protection expires and your villages are captured, your progress on that realm is gone. If that was your only registered realm, then the game acts as if you've never played before because you have no existing empires.
If you start and get wiped, you'll just have to find strong allies. It's how empire-building works.
If you need any additional knowledge about the blocks-disappearing bug, after blocks disappear, there's always a sound that plays that sound like billiard balls colliding. Whatever typically causes that sound to play may be part of the recurring glitch.
This is an excellent game. Neat and simple puzzles, nice difficulty curve, straightforward mechanics, and a few... interesting alternate solutions if you're willing to look for them.
The game seems nice, but some mechanics don't seem to be balanced.
Where I'm at right now, my next Plants, Extractors, and Generators cost in the billions and my next Fuel Tank (even after I have enough to run all my ships at full capacity) doesn't even cost 1k. I feel that ship level in the thirties should require Tanks at higher than Level 8. Also @Norma, the 20%-of-AP cost isn't too harsh if you buy it immediately before warping and (if you've been patient enough) more than doubling your AP.
If I spend 20% of my AP and then warp for my original AP (net result: x1.8 AP) 18 times for 54 gems, then spend 55 (roughly equal for our purposes) on the x8 AP upgrade, the loss is small enough that I still end up with 20% more AP than after 18 normal warps.
