well we got achievements now.... and I gotta say the quality of the game improved by.... ziltch. I love this game and I'm a level 40+ on kong, but I've come to the realization that on the few games that I would play constantly, the achievements are meaningless. Eather I would play random games mindlessly to get achievements or I would play the few games I quite enjoy regardless. Achievements are a fun 'side quest' but they actually do nothing to improve the game. My two cents.
I think PETA will have some issues with the endurance training. Something about chucking rocks at chickens to toughen them up seems to be a small tipoff.
Seconding Pykrete's comment. Went with the necromancer, played against the undead hero. Scenario goes something like this; He plays blood moon (1 skeleton is generated on a random team every time something dies), I save up about 300 gold and play 6 sets of fresh skeletons. He matches me and I keep trying to swamp him with cheap skeletons. Now with this many units on the field at the same time, and every time one dies, another gets placed, we now got a few hundred skellies on the field. LAG BONANZA! gotta admit love games like this where you can just send giant hordes at the opponent.
umm... now that we have a new nexus... how do I make draft packs? it used to be a kassiden Idol, but now that does not seem to work... any suggestions?
You found $3,725,853 laying around on the street. lolwtf!
ya shure... wish i could just find 3m laying around on the street... what did you do rob a bank and claim it was on the street??
apparently autopilot really hates my fireballs... I will have a greater fireball sitting in my hand and it keeps selecting that 1 1 card every time.... gotta laugh at the ai, but it makes it quicker so on easier battles.... meh
well I managed to change strategy around completely, but honestly lv 10 was the hardest. lv 12 was easy in comparison and got completed on the first try
wow.. just wow... going on an especially difficult level around the tenth time retrying it, FINALLY get it just right and am now just about to kill off the last enemy. He is in the right most corner beside 3 barrels. so easy shot!, take it and a chunk of barrel flies about 3 screens back and snipes a civilian that I left back at the start.... FUUUUUU!!!!!!
haha well that was a fun game. There are actually THREE easter eggs, the dinosaur and glasses like mentioned but there is also a way to fly and control the spaceship! Just before you get to the black stamp trap on the way to the dinosaur fly up higher to the right, there is a platform you can land on and then shoot as far right as fast as you can and you can land on top of the ship boss. Now you can fly him around! somewhat anyways... Was alot of fun, had alot of glitches but they kinda made it interesting.
alright huge discrepancy between the different skill training. Power is literally 1 click... Defense is a mini typing bee, about 12 or so keystrokes long and about 20ish seconds. Agility is the only 'real' game and is about 30 seconds long. Intelligence strangely enough is 6 rounds of rock paper scissors. with the ability to buy skills, it is actually easier and faster to just strength train a spoiled hero and buy the power you actually want....
Like others said really interesting concept. Heres my 2 cents;
A normalizer mutator would be really interesting to see. instead of focusing all yours to the extreme and kinda getting stuck there, a mutator that put everything mid-ward stat wise would be great. also the controls are reaaly clunky and hard to do any kind of micromanagement. The lives section where you only get so many restarts seems kinda pointless and probably unnecessary. It penalizes a concept of lets try this, or that! and instead makes you have limited chance of experimenting. another great feature would be the ability to send multiple orders so that you can send one off somewhere on its own.
I second diabolick! the first thing I thought of was gentleman Cho Omnomnomnom! Of course I never did figure out why Cho got feast while Kog (the embodiment of hunger) can only spit...
In response to rageingnonsense
you can complete it on kongregate (thankfully for the badge...) when you click on the scores button, there is a small window in the top left corner that has a snakes game in it. eat 5 apples in that to continue.
to reply to your comment there Hulless I was on lvl 27 with one bar. I managed to make it to lvl 42 before dying and had no health packs. I tired to get a shield and something spawned underneath me....
