This is the best game I've played in quite awhile!! Very addicting, making me want to try again and again, but not so frustrating that I give up in a rage. I thought the level design was EXCELLENT! Great pacing and ramping up of difficulty. You knocked this out of the park. I cannot wait for a sequel. I have all my students playing it too and they LOVE IT!!
LOVE this game too!! All your games are our base! Or something like that.
Seriously love. Also, I think you'd kill with a concept like Utopian Mining (here on Kong). Your stories are fun(ny) and the gameplay is really great too. So cool! Thanks for making games!
Thank you so much for the kind words. I really enjoy making games and one thing I look to do is entertain with my stories. I appreciate you taking a moment to play and write something down! Best, -Tim
LOVED IT! The dialogue when upgrades occurred also totally made this worth my time. I'm STILL finishing my final sets of upgrades, but I found myself coming back to finish because it was interesting/engaging. Don't know if you're also familiar with Candy Box? That was a really cool "idle" type game, but also involved you in questing and upgrading.
Aw - thank you so much! I'm so happy to know you enjoyed it! This was a REALLY fun game to make and a total blast to write for! Thanks for the comment and the play! I appreciate it! Best, -Tim
Digging this game so far. I wish (perhaps in a future update) that hitting the space bar would allow the "after battle text" to close instead of using the mouse. I'd like to be able to do everything via the keyboard and/or the mouse. It's a little weird switching back and forth. That said, cool game! 4 stars!
LOVE this game. I think the level design is incredibly smart, progressing from easiest, teaching the player, to much more challenging. Even MORE exciting (for my students) is designing levels! We've been going nuts the last day or so making levels. :)
Ha! I had to play to see the ending. I wish each "boss" on each level had a different graphic...but it was entertaining enough. The game itself...not so challenging, obviously.
The story made me finish.
One suggestion/comment: there needs to be a motivation or reason for me to want to get that paper. Some sort of in-game achievement. Maybe powerups of some kind (double jump?). Just an idea. I'm diggin this game though.
These seem like the same maps from a previous version? Am I off here or are there some repeat maps? I also purchased this for the iPad...is this an adaptation of an earlier version? Just wondering. Thanks!
Very cool!
Did this take long to create? Fun and intuitive. I like how the sections where there's a speech bubble made me stay for a second longer so that I actually READ them. Good design. :)
I have LOVED your previous games and the art style is just excellent. I'm enjoying the mouse controls for this! Now, I'm stuck. Just started the game, got the key, but when I push down the door won't open. Is this a bug or do I have to be in a particular place next to the door to make it work? I'm usually pretty good at games.. :)
I had no idea there was a platformer version of the Papa's games!! Was this even BEFORE the Burgeria? I feel like I've discovered a magical undiscovered land filled with awesomeness.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I really enjoy making games and one thing I look to do is entertain with my stories. I appreciate you taking a moment to play and write something down! Best, -Tim
