Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the whole point of a tower defense game supposed to be preventing the monsters from reaching the end? This was fun for a while but once I realized there is no penalty to letting the monsters reach the end I didn't see a point anymore.
Solid mechanics. Dashing seems overpowered but I imagine you will introduce items to improve regular slash, blocking, etc.
Your main complaints will be about the "puzzles". I didn't get it on the first level and had to use the QR code. Second level I got it, but it wasn't fun. Backtracking and grinding to get enough money for a key to unlock the right room to know which markers I needed to activate, and then memorizing or writing down the pattern was monotonous. Obviously puzzles are a big part of the game so they need to be refined to find a balance between challenging and frustrating. You're on the right track but atm the puzzles are not satisfying.
Thanks for the feedback. I loved how you have to write things down or draw a map on a piece of paper while playing old DOS games. Hence I wanted to recreate this feeling. I knew that lots of people won't like it, so I made puzzles optional. They grant you health upgrades that aren't necessary to beat the game.
I don't see a point in ever clicking the mouse. despite that I find this fun and addicting but like... make clicking the mouse worth it or get rid of it altogether, are you trying to reward autoclicking programs?
Never had this happen before for any game on kongregate: all my data was wiped. I cannot imagine how I'd feel if I payed for your stupid microtransaction currency. These idle games are absolute cancer.
They just introduced a new monetary system... grind harder to earn... 25% more.... Golden turds... By spending... Swole points.... I'm done with humanity at this point.
That is not a Turd Bonus, it's a bonus to the skill Motivate. Here is a guide that may help: https://animationthrowdown.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001516891-Swole-Club-and-Swole-Challenge
