Great game! The only problem I saw was that every so often (it seems pretty random) if you click the spacebar to go to the shop, the game continues running behind the shop. I exited out of the shop and was dead!
I really enjoy games like this one, but the only reason I was able to figure out how to play is because I recently played a similar game with MUCH better instructions. Your idea is great, but you really need to look into explaining it better.
I've noticed that if you are already reeling when a fish tries to bite, the fish automatically is on your hook and the screen sort of freaks out before allowing you to start the fish battle.
The addition of the badges seems to have bugged out the ability to revive fallen companions. I played it before the badges came and had no problems reviving them, but now there isn't even the option to help them.
I really, really, really hate that the shooting requires the use of the mouse. Here's why: I use my right hand, and the arrows keys, to move and jump. Guess what hand the mouse is for?
I am not NEARLY as coordinated with my left hand, so I die WAY faster if I try to use A and D.
