I don't like this snearly as much as 1.5, there were some good idea with enemy types, but the dodge chance on the dodgers is way too high. Mazes that will stop all other enemies after 20 seconds for me will only be able to kill half the dodging enemies before loosing. Also, the game tends to lag a lot more than previous games. 2/5, the problems are simple but almost game breaking.
maybe if flew the plane from first person... it's just about impossible to hit anything in a dogfight when you can't even see what the plane is aiming at.
I thought this was the best game ever. Then I got to icewind pass and upgraded my 500mm cannon with the rockets, and heard the "Yippy-kiyay mother****ers" and you made my day. Congrats.
I played this game a lot when it was still new. very happy to come back after months (literally) and finding 4 shiny new badged ripe for the taking
and as a vet, I must say that the fighter drones are the most useful thing ever near the end. the maximum number of drones firing at a single capital ship all at once can kill it in around 1/3 the time of your fully upgraded gun.
This seems to be the only game without achievements I've found that isn't full of people complaining about a lack of achievements. 'Course, what kind of achievements could this game even have?
The only way this can be better is if you moved the screen down a bit. I just don't like having the screen so high as I chat with friends, but this is more of a personal thing.
