Nice game. Played it for a while now. Only thing to suggest is the money counter. When I played it was permanently adding money or decreasing money when I bought something. So between level changes it was kinda hard to see how much money I actually had to spend for upgrades. Either it should count faster or just show money amount without counting up / down.
For your first game it is really nothing special, but it works fine, seems to have no bugs and is a good start. Even got my number after 9 guesses. 3/5
Well done. Still things to work on in this game but definitely an upgrade to the first part. Keep working on this game. I would like to see how it will develop in the next 2-3 versions. At least you should get enough feedback. Like Sicklemandin said adding checkpoints would be a great idea. Also I could jump out of the screen on the right side, which made the character disappear and I couldnt game on.
Works fine for your first game. Pretty simple and short. You should work a little on the background. Add some colours or maybe a landscape in the back. Also a little "reward" like an extra screen or picture when someone won. When I won and jumped on the last platform, I died and my reward was starting at the beginning again. On some of the gray blocks it seemed like I jumped into the block for a really short moment. But then the ball moved up to stand on the block again. And now, when I tried the game again, I fell down, respawned, and the ball kept falling through the first platform for a few times, then the screen remained white and I couldn't play anymore.
I love it as much as Space is Key. The new feature "Rotation upgrade" is awesome. Made my death counter skyrocket the first few levels. Also nice to see a challenge mode. Thx to Waterflame for the great soundtrack. In my opinion it is as addicting as the previous game.
Nice game. The pictures are great and get more details later on. Also the different ways of splitting the pictures makes the puzzles more diversified. Found it a bit easy when I completed the first few levels. But the difficulty is very hard in higher levels now. Great job. Stuck on 25 at the moment.
The game is looking good and I cannot remember when I last played a boxing game. But you should work a little more on "Player vs. NPC". Tried easy and hard mode, but on both I easily won by walking forward and spamming the B button. Maybe add a counter attack that makes the attacker stop punching for a short period of time, so the NPCs have a chance to give the player a black eye too ;D
Not bad for your first game. I like the look of the game but you could add some more objects like the 2 trees just before the end to make it look a little more friendly, maybe clouds or whatever comes into your mind. Also would like the game to be a little more challenging. Just jumping through the levels without enemies or obstacles does not make me play a game for a long time. I think there might be some potential in this game if you collect some more ideas for level designing.
I think the comments are somewhat unfair until now. People here seem to forget about constructive cristicism. Let the enemies start shooting at the player once he is within a shorter range. Being shot out of nowhere without a target to shoot back is a strange feeling. Also some levels could be more difficult. The Jeep level was nothing more like pressing right arrow button and race through, so you could try to bring in some other ideas to enhance the fun people have to beat levels using vehicles. The look of the game is "ok" in my opinion. It is hard to make a game about a (not my opinion, but most people may say) awesome game like Halo. People might expect something close to the original, what would be a lot of work in this case, so changing the name and show a little more creativity could result in a better rated game because players do not compare it to the original game.
Like dedfink said, the idea of moving images for finding the differences is not bad, but the game should tell people what they have to do next. Was not too hard to figure it out on the second try but once you know it, the game is too short. Also should change the order of the pictures once you restart at level 1. The order was exactly the same, so it wasn't a challenge to replay.
First of all I would change the sound. The loop is not realy something to listen for more than 1 minute. Also nothing happened after I popped all the balloons on level one. If this is all of the game, add a timer at least to make a highscore for fastest people to pop the balloons.
I sometimes die twice when I made about half of the level. Die by spikes, when the cube respawns, instant death again. Also seems to skip the instant deaths from time to time and just adds 2 deaths instead of 1 to the counter. So death counter doesn't show real deaths :/.
I remember this little egg ^^ loved to play these games when I was younger. Unfortunately it is just a short fun. I would love to play a little longer if you should make another one :D Also an extra button for faster walking would be nice for some of the long walks. Bonus for the toilet warp :P
