An excellent "Canabalt" clone...And I mean that in a good way. Good music and an interesting clear method. I have one complaint, though; The shadows of the grass and trees in the foreground can sometimes conceal the rabbits and fire-pits until it is far too late, causing you to stumble before you see the obstacle. Not so bad when you're just going for distance, but when going for the Flawless Medals...Otherwise, a fun little runner.
I'll add another complaint. How about the fact that there are many times you can be killed in one shot without warning? Case in point, the Fire Boss : He can teleport to any position on the screen, and should he teleport on you or you crash into him on his sudden appearance, you die instantly. No chance to recover, no chance to see it coming. That's not a challenge, that's a cheap shot...
The game has good music and it's nice to see a mech-based bullet hell game. But several drawbacks keep it from being really good. Such as the rare "phantom hits"(twice I've been hit by nothing), the atrocious homing mechanics(I saw a homing shot bounce in the space between two tanks for 8 seconds before actually hitting one, and it's impossible to use in Survival), and the many times the HUD has failed to disappear when you walk near it, causing literal blind-dodging sessions. It's a decent game and concept, but it's severely under-polished.
A wonderful idea for a game...Marred by horrendous controls and AI. I constantly watched my horde stand still and get attacked, go after a hex when under fire, had a pain getting troops to move to a single spot due to having to drag the cursor, and worse. In short, I found myself hoping for something that never showed up. Better luck next time...
A fun addition to the series, but some gold requirements seem to involve one heck of an amount of luck(see "Ballroom Dance"...One shot using acid, 12 to kill. If you hit correctly, the people still may not die)! A decent time-waster, though. I give it a 4.
Had a decent time running like a maniac. Burnt off 10 continues in the Moderate game before trying Insane...And it is. 43 continues used there. Therefore, the blue elephant is not quite the meaning to life, the universe, and everything, but is close. Regardless, it's a neat little game with catchy music. 4/5
5,003 meters...JUST enough to get the Hard badge...*breathes a sigh of relief*. Regardless, this is a rather addicting game, quite fun, and has an excellent tune. I recommend it, if only for a while. 4/5
