Wow, this weird alien computer registers .exe files as directories (folders)!
life.exe
globalthermonuclearwar.exe
solitaire.exe
What's up with that? Programs are not folders!
The endgame becomes extremely boring since the only thing you can do is get full upgrades, and when you get full upgrades, all the "powerful" countries are easier to defeat than the weakest countries. What makes it worse is that the battles and flavor text that goes with it stay the same for every single damn country, so when you're conquering your last city it will be saying the silly stuff I've been looking at for the entirety of the game. Started as an interesting concept, but ended very badly.
Game development requires a lot of work, you shouldn't just throw a game together without putting effort into it (especially in StencylWorks - it is NOT the 'easy' way for people to make good games). Your game has bad gameplay(very buggy, don't you test your files?) art ripped from StencylForge and no creative aspects (music, storyline, etc.)
I'm not trying to be a jerk, honestly, but hear me out: you need to put more work into your games before you can really call yourself a developer (if that's what you want to do). If you actually plan on making more games, please take the time to make quality games.
Well, first, I don't really knew that for this they would call me "Developer". About "Ripping", I thought that when someone shares a thing in Stencylforge, it's supposed to be using it, or not? For the music, My speakers are broken, soon im gonna try to add some music after someone fixes them. Thanks for the comment, you made me think alot.
When writing the walkthrough, you should have been more specific about the switch-flipping. It's a bit confusing to follow in the Water Temple when you just say "flip" this switch. Sometimes I lose track of whether it should be on or off. It's not that hard to say flip the switch ON/OFF.
Damned references. . . Councilor Troi in Oceana (that doesn't even look like her) and the alien elitist that says "stop! resistance is futile!" when it dies in base 13 at phoenix. The thing is, they are only supposed to give the "Resistance is futile" message when they attack us. They don't tell you that resistance is futile when they have just been defeated. That's stupid because resistance is obviously not futile if they have already been killed. . .
Sorry for the triple post, but . . .
Now that I found the true ending, I changed my rating from a 1/5 to a 3/5. Good game, but a little too hard having to shoot at the hive so many times while it's moving around. Not that stupid really, it's a good idea but could use some more work. Lol I won't post any more comments now.
YES! I just confirmed my below comment. If you just die, you get the Play Again screen, and if you simply destroy the whole cube you also get the Play Again screen. When you only target the green bar, The Hive (NOT THE HEALTH BAR) you destroy the hive and then it goes to a To be continued. . . screen!
This game is either very hard or very easy. . . If all you need to do to win the game is destroy the cube, then it's easy. But, if you only need to destroy the "Hive" which is indicated by the green bar, then it's hard. That would mean the bar isn't actually the health bar and it's crazy hard because the cube keeps turning so you can't aim at the hive. Can anyone confirm this?
