@bjhamer: Well, I stil play this for over an hour and it is rather demanding focus wise. Careully moving around the ball to keep only one field of each colour, picking the right one. If anything, the game drags out too long when you get good at it.
A typical Bonte game. Like them, like the music but this one was a bit too slow. Knowing what to do and how was quick, but moving that guy around was not fun. 3/5 anyway.
Between the useless gun (apart from 5% engine power for fully upgrading) and the constant fuel consumption (your fuel tank is a timer) this games, while a short and fun upgrader, warrants no more than 3/5. Could be higher if there were more options while driving, which this game is all about.
Definitely the fastest and easiest "hard" badge I got. Nice demo, but a bit too easy. It is not too short however, because 200 levels of this and I would definitely get bored. 4/5 for original gameplay and a nice challenge.
I have seen much better takes on using match-3 to drive a combat/rpg setting. The match itself and the upgrades seem uninspired and the game, like most match-3 is all about luck. Especially when you need to get three starts in the mid levels to not fall behind the opponent in later levels.
GAH! Stuck on the fourth. All the smaller wheels are correct, just need to get them into the target at the same time! Ugh. Love tha game but my brain just gave up. Thanks!
If there are ten pieces you get ten moves to finish the puzzle, however, because the last two pieces are always put in place together, you only need a maximum of nine moves to get ten pieces in place. If there are loops on the solution you will get two pieces in the correct spot with one move even more times, getting to even less moves. Interesting challenge to calculate the number of moves without solving the puzzle...
Apart from the unforgiving controls for star (not much of an issue when you have a mouse, must be hell for those with laptop) the game is just too easy. It gets boring quickly.
I decided to go through all the tutorials and the one showing the workbench died on me, no mouse visible, going through the tabs (blindly) but no progress. Too bugged...
hey, could you share a few links to other match-3 combats? appreciated
