I found a game-breaking bug. In the area where you can increase the clone cap to 4, a bit to the right (after the second blue walkway), there's a small patch of destructible ground. I thought there was maybe a secret if you could get to the top, so I abused a bug where if you shoot and jump at the same time below a destructible block then you can destroy it. I did that a few times to make a small walkway. I got to the top and was able to jump offscreen. Now I'm stuck. It won't let me self-destruct. I think I'm going to restart. It's super annoying though, something you should look into.
I really like the game! However, the game crashes when I try to dig below 10000m (the second rarity shown states -2 m. I was digging hardened lava). Kind of disappointing. Could you address this please? I am using chrome.
Normally the game should bring you back to the planet surface view once you mine the 10000th (or 9999m) tile. But maybe it just doesn't work. Hardened lava is something that was later scrapped (made it normally inaccessible by making it appear at depth 10000) because I found no use for it. :3

The level listed for retirement refers to your gear level, NOT your character level. Your gear level is located at the top-left. To raise your gear level, fight higher-leveled creatures and equip the gear they drop. The gear level is calculated as the average of the levels of your equipment, so make sure to swap your gear often!
Colors such as red, orange, and purple also reduce your overall damage by a percentage (the lowest being 30% from orange). Try to stay away from these colors in the beginning.
Orange = 30% reduction to total damage.
Either increasing your ilvl or character level will change the color back to yellow which gives 0% reduction to total damage.
Once you get sublimination and a rune that grants dodge, you're pretty much OP. First cast the spell that gives you dodge, then while it's still on, cast a spell that contains sublimination (channeler is also good, just make sure that the spell has a ton of power behind it). You'll dodge the HP damage caused by the spell as well as setting your flux to zero, or close to it. When combined with a spell that uses up a ton of flux, you are virtually unstoppable.
Playing as zombie knight and maxing out stun chance pretty much makes it impossible for close-combat units to kill you. Add in poison damage and it's extremely easy to kill anything.
Also the game could greatly benefit from a map and a curb on the xp bonus. I did not need to use any potions whatsoever, since my HP and MP were restored each time after lvling up. It was also incredibly easy to cut down mobs if you could place yourself in a tiny corner and let the swarm of enemies come to you (not only that, but if you placed yourself inside a small hole you would also force the monsters to come at you 1 by 1 instead of all at once).
The game has some potential, but there are some bugs as others have brought up that needs to be fixed ASAP. I hate the controls since it makes it very difficult to maneuver, though I think you intentionally made the controls hard to use because Zelda does a similar thing. Also adding a map will definitely bump up the game's rating.
For now I'm leaving my rating of 1/5 until some things are improved upon or fixed in the game.
@jotaboogie
If you are able to understand what he is saying in your guys' argument, then correcting his grammar is making you look like a grade-A douchebag, plain and simple. You also initiated a conversation with him by disrespecting his work, thereby insulting him. If anything, you should be apologizing for your behavior. Instead you have the nerve to ask him to apologize for his honest response, which is that your rating is hardly significant to begin with. Other than a possible bug you bring up to the developer's attention, all other forms of behavior from your part were unnecessary and unprofessional. You lost the developer's respect for you as a player, and frankly speaking you have earned the treatment. The developers don't owe you anything, so treat them with more respect.
I have loved all of your games; this one is no exception. Compared to other game creators, I have immense respect for your ability to churn out a series that does not get boring over time. While I am a bit annoyed with the premium content, I'm still content with the base game.
Thank you for all the hours of gaming you have given me. Keep developing games, please!
This game isn't "hard". To be brutal, I dislike this game. For example; your idea of "hard" is that bosses shoot so fast that it's virtually impossible for the player to dodge all of the blasts...and that's it. Oh, and, of course, the boss's hp goes up. See, bosses weren't made difficult because they did only those two things. There were several factors that came into play, such as: the speed of the boss; its size; its variety of shots; its varying velocities for shots; the number of "normal" enemies on screen; size of the map; et cetera. Another thing I disliked about this game is that it's extremely repetitive. The level design is the same for every. freaking. level. The only different things are 1) size and shape of the map and 2) the types of enemies on screen. The dialogue also needs some work. 1/5
I honestly don't see why there's so much hype about this game. It uses the same system as other tower defense games. This game doesn't even have a speed-up button. 1/5 for lack of originality and pretty much the same upgrade system as other tower defense games.
Okay, so here are upgrades that kept appearing as options: Reindeer - max missle lvl 5, max hp + regen lvl 3, Elf Brute - dmg lvl 1, Normal Elf - damage lvl 4. There might be more...Anyways, this can all be ignored if the max amount of upgrades someone can have is 82. If so, then please announce that in the future. This game seems to be a bit better than the last ones you have been releasing IMO. Like @Zerataul has said, I also think Santa's speed should be an option to upgrade, since he moves WAY too slow to efficiently dodge the advanced demons' shots. 4/5.
This was hard, specifically on the requirement directed towards the player in terms of accessing which materials/buildings are the most important for your survival. Wish the full game was on kongregate though...And that the game had some more levels :P 5/5 + fav, though I did feel the game was short...
Great! This game taught me how to ruin a perfectly good series with stupid ideas!
Note to self: Must make use of time-based upgrades and almost non-existent moving speed.
1/5. Come on SeanCooper, you can do better than this.
