Actually I can better explain the exponent ordinals, They function like this. (F is factor, and ω is well. Lowercase Omega.) ( F-1)ω^(F-1) + (F-1ω) + F = (F-1)ω^(F-1) + Fω = (F-1)ω^F = Fω = ω^ω
Regarding the comment below, and other comments on "how close am I to beating a challange?" The way Ordinal numbers work is pretty simple. omega (Ω for above Gψ and ω for below Gψ) are equal to your factor number. Once a number reaches the factor number it marks up and omega till you get to Psi (Gψ). Say we have a factor of 3 and our highest number is 2ω^2+ω2+2. If we mark up a ω^2+ω1+3 we'll have 2ω^2+ω2+3 which will mark up to 2ω^2+ω3 which will mark up to 2ω^3 which will become ω^ω (omega to the omegath power) I really do hope this makes sense.
Well. I did it. I bet the game with a score of 75. All I can say now is. Another one please! Tips of mine: You can easily kill shiny bluuls by just funneling them into your main defence (if you're using blasters). Resonators are a bit harder to deal with due to how large of an AOE they make. Best to try and have your defence as far as possible. Machine guns + a harpoon to stun will make short work of them... just make sure to get core extractor so they will be pinned as soon as they spawn. Blasters work best if you have them pointed across multiple pathways instead of straight along one.
actually. Mission 8 wasn't really hard.
Just get the pods before anything else.
if collector paths to them die. Use the orbital commands. they'll put energy into them as they go over.
I beat the game. I hope this game will get more levels someday but in meantime I have one last question. the frick did we go from fighting aliens to what appears to be spaceships powered by gems???
Haha, I originally had a story, but decided to cut it out since I didn't think people would care about it. In short it goes like this: your solar system was sort of terra formed and the first people were sent by the greenish-yellow gem guys as a way to estabilish a civilization which had to mine the crystals and send them as a tribute (after level 10-11 you'll see planets with crystal shards on them) but after a while they refused to do so, so the invasion (attack?) begins, Bluuls being the enslaved aliens used by greenish guys.
Every 3 seconds they release a nova which causes nearby enemies to resonate. Every enemy has a specific buff they receive when they resonate so that's why it is necessary to keep them away from the other with the harpoons.
Vanguards gain 15% damage resistance when they resonate. They might heal when their resistance go past 100% but at that point the result is pretty much the same. I am fixing the healing part but the damage you do is still 0%. *edit* Should be fixed by now!
There are 3 Tech Cards which can be used by mini-me's after this upgrade is purchased (Headshot, Missile Launcher and Executor). If you purchase the upgrade without having any of those cards then the upgrade is useless indeed. Is there another problem? Are they not triggering any of those 3? The last time I tested everything seemed to work fine. I'll test them again once I get home.
also. The faster enemies are definetly unbalanced. You'll notice alot of TD games don't make them massively faster than other enemies. Just enough that its noticeable.
Hey, the trick to kill the faster enemies is to have a long corridors so they don't slip past the blast cd. The evolved ones might pose a problem but having 1-2 projectiles turrets near the main turret + a trigger plate should stop most of them.
