Has anyone actually beaten level 10? The regen makes the zombies practically invincible so if one gets in front you just lose. They don't get destroyed easily by secondary weapons either.
Fun, but comparing it to Grindcraft, it was cool to relate what you were doing in Grindcraft to what you could do in Minecraft. If you make another, I suggest making a larger Grindcraft with mods in it. Maybe multiple endings and challenges for replayability.
The crafting is completely broken. I'm getting level 3 gear with level one items and level 1 gear with level 3 items. And it makes no sense to get an earth staff from a fire element.
This game is horrible I don't get why people are all saying it's perfect. For example, during the cross examination he says one of them is lying. The basis for that is that the girl said she was dragged there by friends and upon selecting her the only explanation was that "her answer was different from the others". What?! There was nothing saying she wasn't a student and she could have very well have been dragged there by her friends. There was nothing to base the correct answer on. It's like this for the entire game. None of it is realistic. It's not a detective game it's a guessing game and story.
The way the units just pile on top of each other and clip through each other and do not use common tactics such as cavalry ignoring melee to attack the rear archers makes this nothing but a numbers game. Any positioning is rendered useless within the first few seconds at both groups just form blobs. It's also incredibly odd that archers can beat cavalry in melee.
The game has a large selection of different abilities for your tower, but the problem is that the cost of these upgrades all increase with each purchase making the most cost effective strategy to just purchase all of them. So many abilities yet every game you will buy the same things in the same pattern because that is how to do it the most efficiently. If you look at games like undefeated spider there is a lot of variation in the enemy and synergy between abilities so you can actually benefit from focusing on a few things and fall behind if you spread out your points to everything.
Thats a very good point, you are absolutly right. Since I planned more upgrades (even upgrades to the elemental effects) I am going to focus on different possibilities to play the game as well.
Well I jut found a horrible bug. In the "dimension" you get to by only pushing the middle button when teleporting, I picked up the brown right-angle crank thing underground and it got stuck on my mouse. I cannot click anything else or get rid of it. It's a shame, I got so far too.
So far it's horrible. Everything gives and costs experience, even artifacts. When people play an RPG-like idle they expect...well....a lot more than this. If it does get good it will be an entirely different game.
My game slows down WAY before I can soft reset. And frankly, after the first soft reset it doesn't seem like there is much to do. All the abilities bought, all characters seen, formations explored... Why bother having the soft restart there?
we'll add some more to GrindCraft in the future. The Skware Wars one has a Minecraft server that we'll open soon.
