same problem with the food... on the tutorial every single one dropped food.. but just start a normal lvl and you run past 10-20 enemies withouth a single drop (in 3 runs i only had 2 sausages drop) so... increase the drop rate or add an upgrade for that
has potential to be a 30min nice game if you add an upgrade system... the ship is now too slow and it is very anoying that you can shoot the temporary weapon upgrades (and you cant see when they end eigther)
there are only 28 mission not 30 (after you beat the game you only get 1 mission complete so if you load the game again the save shows only 28/30 like theres 2 extra missions hidden somewhere)
the boss is very hard (even too hard if you ask me even with all the stones and everyone fully upgraded, his shield is way too strong... i mean give it like 10k shield hp not more...) and for some reason on my 4th atempt when i died and was being resurected i won the boss still had around half his hp
after tanking the first boss (skeleton) for like 5mins and killing him for the 2nd time a random skeleton minion has infinite hp and doesnt attack... meaning i have to restart the lvl (the lvl not being able to end is a fairly common bug too)
the clicking while moving single bubbles is "fine" in a way but it can hardly be called accurate as the bubble tend to move close to the spot you clicked (not always the exact spot). also another problem is controling multiple single bubbles as its can be a bit tricky selecting bubles that are close to each other but you want to move them to different locations
the game lacks certain control... picking up random bits is all fine for growth but the pick ups are very small
also the computer can control each unit at any given time while the player has trouble even controling 1 decently not even gona start on the group moving style... (the back ones just keep pushing)
also its very strange to see that the big ones move so slow compared to the smaller ones... even if you can only split off from the big ones (and add them to the selection dont just leave them hanging there) the small ones are very hard to catch im probably guessing near imposible on the further lvls
also 4lvl was failed even though i still had a small buble left
As for the small ones being hard to catch, that's the part where you need to use your brain, trying to corner them to so they can't move anywhere without hitting your bubbles no matter how fast they are, or waiting for them to grow bigger... As for group control moving style... hehe bear in mind those are just brainless bubbles!! But yeah, working on a better movement pattern is also a good idea. However, I would like some explanation on "having trouble even controling 1 decently". It's just click and click, right?
Anyway thanks for the review. Will work on the improvements in future games.
well having less spikes at the start void be a nice start.... and the jumping is a bit sensitive (sometimes my first jump would just put me through the roof)
I'll try to make a version with gradually increasing spikes to see how it goes. And regarding the mega jump bug I'm already working on a solution. Thanks!
