so at around 1k autoclickers it breaks and won't buy anymore though the count does go up. I do like that you can drag autoclickers to anything even purchasing universes and themselves.
for LanyC. that's not an issue with this game so much as how web games and browsers work in general, background tabs run on reduced memory allotment to save on ram, so will not get the full "ticks" if they get any at all. putting it in its own window solves this issue.
haven't played in a while. my update is from old april somewhere. I just logged back in and see nothing but a flashing first box with 999 mil on it. flashing rainbow. nothing else on screen. no reset. I tried clearing the cookies but no luck.
I mean. more of a rock paper scissors game. I'm a fan of the iterated prisoner's dilemma, where multiple rounds are played out with the same person or group. gives room for strategies like tit for tat.
just some notes. hard resetting lets me prestige with the mult gain I would have gotten before the hard reset.
also a QOL change to the purchase amount, if we have an odd number to the purchase amount (say 24/25) it should purchase to the next 25 so that it's even and we're not wasting money to tier.
try starting the player off with maybe one or two cards with a few simpler stats and building up to the long chain card trains. complexity is not innately a good thing, as seen here it took an interesting idea and turned its intended player base away from it at the get-go. there is a reason a lot of other idle games lock content behind progression, and it's not to extend the grind.
for the "doesn't run in background" there's nothing you can do about that, it's a combination of how chrome/browsers and kongregate work in general. they decrease useage by reducing computation ticks of background tabs. the way users have around this is to split the window off into its own window with one tab so it's never on a background tab, and there are some other methods some developers use for calculating time using the system clock or just estimating.
I think I can make this work. If I can detect somehow when the game goes to pause state, I can then calculate the difference of time and multiply accordingly. I'm hoping to have this fixed asap.
@dragonatrix that's now how loops work in code. 0 is 1. it's the first character, if I = 0 and that was the end the loop runs one time. it's not multiplying it it's adding the number on for i + 1 what the number is.
I will do something about this in next update.
